I went here to get my hair bleached and dyed silver. I know it is something that is tough to do, but I've bleached my hair at home before and got it blonde in one go no problem. Now I will admit, super friendly atmosphere, had some skill in applying bleach. But shouldn't be bleaching or dying anyone's hair. Once he did my hair, it took forever for him to dry it and I knew it was completely dead. But instead of him saying this and offering to do a free cut or offer half the payment back, he says, 'so you got some breakage' like no dude, you completely fried my hair to the point where it doesn't even dry anymore. I tried calling him the next day and the day after that to speak about the situation, but of course he ignored my calls. So I had to go elsewhere and get all my hair chopped off because I work in a professional place and what he left my hair like was far from professional. I swear hair stylist think their customers don't know anything about hair lol. Anyway, I will admit he has some skills, but personally after this experience, I'd only use him for cuts, not bleach...

After the pandemic hit, I was nervous about going to a salon. Thankfully Hair Style is super strict about ensuring the personal safety of their clients and staff. They have protocols for allowing only one client and one stylist in the salon at a time. Everything is disinfected between clients, and both you and the stylist wear PPE the entire time. The stylist, Vern, listened carefully to what I wanted, and then he worked his magic on my poor, overgrown hair. He gave me exactly what I wanted: something shorter for summer that I could still put in a ponytail or tuck behind my ears. He also cut my hair so that is was softly angled in the front. It added an edgy look and flattered my face shape. Plus he recommended the perfect products to add moisture to my hair, and battle humidity, without weighing it down....
