This salon is a GAME CHANGER. I have never experienced hospitality and care outside of an upscale spa in this fashion. I have seen Nina several times. Sometimes people tend to be amazing on the front end to win you over. My services with her have been consistently wonderful. There is thought put into everything: From the time you enter, in the offering of a drink to something as simple as a warm towel on the neck rest as your hair gets washed, to providing a checklist of recommendations for future appointments/purchases.

Nina is very knowledgeable as well as budget conscious. While she shares each time what product she’s using, and its purpose, she is never salesy; it's never a pitch, only information to do with as you’d like. From the first time in, she listened to my goal of growing my hair, and has used every tool in her belt to help me accomplish that, rather than talk me into a style or something that I didn’t want.

I also enjoy that she allows me to rest while receiving the service without the pressure to chit-chat. When I’m getting a service, it’s a time for me to shut off my mind for a time and rest. I never feel like I have to entertain her in conversation or an obligation to talk, nor does she ask a bunch of questions for the sake of asking.

The atmosphere itself is worthwhile. Michelle, the owner, did an impeccable job designing the place. Again, every detail accounted for. It's modern with a mixture of texture, while keeping the original charm.

I have trusted Michelle with my hair since the Spring of 2013. (I’ve followed her to two different salons across state lines – she’s THAT good.) Her work is impeccable, and her technique is top-notch. We’ve mastered “my usual”, and she doesn’t need to be reminded mid-cut what I’d like.

Her salon is gorgeous. It’s spacious but warm, bright but inviting, and there are plenty of beverage options from coffee to water to soda to wine – you really have to TRY to have an uncomfortable experience. The personalities of all her stylists are cohesive and mesh very well – I’ve formed friendships with some of the other stylists, just through chit-chatting during my appointments over the years, and I would trust any of them to do the job if Michelle was ever unavailable. I’m never nervous about how the finished product will look, and I know that if I have any anxiety or worries mid-cut, Michelle will patiently pause and walk me through her process. (I’ve seen the other stylists do the same with their clients – there is no ego here.)

I cannot recommend Michelle or The Organic Salon enough. After twelve-plus years of service, she has become a friend, confidant, and mentor of sorts, and I’m always eager to catch up. She is a treasure (along with the rest of her stylists) and you would be a fool to not give this salon a try.

My daughter and I visited the salon a couple of days ago, and had the best time! It was my daughter's first haircut (she's 7), and my first in two years that wasn't done by myself. Honestly, neither of us looking for many changes at all, just trims, and Taylor was so great in listening to that. My daughter didn't want her hair washed, so Taylor braided it for her and it was adorable. The natural products used is what brought me to The Organic Salon, and I was so impressed. She used the charcoal shampoo, and shampoo and conditioner by Under Luna, as well as a couple of other products when she curled my hair. I am blown away by the products, it's been two days and my hair still feels freshly washed, is ridiculously soft, and still so fluffy and bouncy. I really can't say enough good things about Taylor though. I was incredibly anxious (perhaps silly, but I have had many a bad haircut), and just melted all that away and I left with fresh hair, but still lots of length. And now, the confidence to come back without the anxiety. My daughter is feeling the same way, and said she looks forward to getting a wash next time.
