KidsPark State Line — Attraction in Kansas City

Could not have asked for a better experience. I'm a stay at home mom but needed somewhere for my 4 year old to go while I recovered from surgery. Everything about our experience with Kids Park was top notch. The staff and owner were so friendly and genuinely took an interest in my daughter. My husband dropped her off the first few days, but I took her myself later in the week. Ms. Jhaniya took time at check in to tell me about my daughter's week and which things she had enjoyed doing. A few months ago we had pulled my daughter from 2x/week half day preschool because she hated going. But she was begging me every day to go back to Kids Park. The facility is very clean and thoughtfully designed, with many fun and enriching activities for the kids. I feel very safe and happy letting my daughter go here. When I picked up last Thursday, Flossy had not met me at drop off so she required me to show ID, even though my daughter had yelled "Mommy!!" as soon as she saw me. Ignore the isolated 1-star review for this center (from an isolated incident that was handled safely and appropriately). Miss Flossie and Miss Antonette are wonderful. The convenience of enrollment, dropoff, pickup, and everything else makes this a dream come true for parents who can't find, or can't commit, to a traditional daycare center's schedules and prices. My daughter had the best time here, and even though it was her first day she basically didn't even notice I had left. She was there for 5 hours, and when I picked her up she had made friends, learned new skills, and had a very cool facepainting session. Everything is open, organized, clean, and very secure. There is even an enclosed outside play space with AstroTurf so the kids can run around in the sunshine for part of the day. And the price is so affordable, it's definitely worth the drive. I have known the owners for 9 years. Corporate background and incredible attention to detail. New business means finding the best staff and getting rid of the disingenuous. And that’s exactly what they are doing. A great interview doesn’t mean a great fit. Flossie and Cody are discerning owners and take every piece of feedback seriously. Incredibly fun and CLEAN space. The hours are a lifesaver! So grateful they provide food and snacks! Both the owner’s children and my own spent years at a fantastic private child care facility.
