pOpshelf is like the sophisticated cousin of Five Below. Both stores offer fun, trendy products, but pOpshelf has a slightly fancier vibe with a broader range of home decor, gifts, and seasonal items. While the prices are a bit higher, the quality and aesthetic make it worth the extra dollars. That said, navigating the store can be frustrating. During my visit — in the middle of the day, not during restocking hours — there were carts of stock cluttering the aisles, making it hard to browse the shelves comfortably. It was a bit annoying, especially with other customers trying to shop. Still, if you enjoy the thrill of a bargain but want something a step above, pOpshelf is worth checking out!

This is a subsidiary business of Dollar General. First impressions: very clean, bright and easy to navigate the store. There is only self checkout, but the staff will help you if you need it. The sign is up high and easy to miss. Bags are free when you checkout (they're paper so you can recycle them or use them ♻️). Name brand products sold in smaller quantities (example 5oz of Downy Unstoppables vs 25oz, etc.) Everything seems reasonably priced for knick knacks. I especially was impressed with the lovely ROYGBIV display of stationery and writing utensils (including Papermate Flairs!) Quite a few blind bags & boxes of name brands (Disney, Marvel, etc.)

So cute!! And so fun inside. AMAZING prices for good quality home decor. Very clean and organized inside too. Self checkout was easy! Friendly faces working here to help with whatever we needed! We will be back soon

Don’t wear a backpack into this place or you will be deemed “suspicious” and the manager will search your personal belongings just because you did not buy anything. When confronted about searching our things we were told we looked like immature teenagers (even though none of us are) The manager was flat out rude and disrespectful. Instead of embarrassing innocent customers maybe put up more prominent signage about not bringing in backpacks. It’s disappointing to have a manager so rude running a store that we would have returned to had they not embarrassed us in front of...
