The atmosphere was very nice we tryed to eat here the first day we was in town and was told there was a 30 min wait which was no big deal until 45 minutes later still did not have a seat which is understandable but when I asked how much longer on time they then told me that I was looking at another hour before I could be seated at which time I decided to leave and went to ihope and was able to drive there eat and get all the way to worlds of fun before receiving a text saying we was ready to be seated ! we went the next day and this time we reserved ahead of time and had more time to be able to wait and almost 45 mins after our reservation I asked them how much more time I was looking at and the lady told me that soon as they had a big table that could sit 5 was available and told me that the tables that could seat 5 the people had been sitting in them for an hour and 30 minutes so should be soon and when I looked around I could see a few booths tied up with 2 people in them while there was several tables open that hold only 2 people I get wanting a booth but when you have wait times you should not tie up a seat that holds a bigger party for a 1 or 2 person party that Is poor seating arrangement on the host we was seated 1 hour after we scheduled our reservation.
Once we was seated the food came out decently fast I had an omelet with ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese and cut potatoes the omelet was very plain no season was disappointed and the potatoes was still hard in the middle was very disappointed in my meal could of got better for less wait time and cheaper elsewhere
I ordered the iced coffee which I will have to brag about it was very good for having no sugar or creamer but could of used something like caramel in it Also the million dollar bacon is a must try from here Their French toast was very good I snagged some off my kid's plates to try it But all in all it was ok but i don't believe we will wait to be...
Read moreThere really is no other place like First Watch when it comes to homemade brunch. They have fun new items all the time on the small menu and old classics on the big menu. Just depends on your mood.
I had the ham and gruyere omelet from the classic menu this time. It was served with a simple mixed greens salad, dense homemade bread, with house made strawberry jam. Of course, the bread was also toasted, but not dripping with butter, either. My perfectly cooked omelet with super-melty cheese, and not too much ham, was consumed with the salad interleaved between each bite - yum. I saved the bread and jam for a mini-breakfast-dessert. So good. My wife had the Florida French Toast, so her whole meal was like a dessert. It was normal looking French toast, thick bread Texas Toast, sliced on the bias, covered with tropical fruit (bananas, kiwi, strawberries), but then just a hint of powered sugar. It came with an accompaniment of warm maple syrup Nice presentation. She ate every bit of it. There was not one crumb left on my plate, too.
Service is also great at this location. Servers notice your glass empty and bring new, full glasses of beverages without prompt. Servers become food runners for other tables and that creates a sense of unity through working together.
With the coffee came options for cream. My wife liked that.
Coffee comes with a carafe. Re-pours are at your discretion. So convenient.
Friendly, clean atmosphere with plenty of regular guests combined with quality, homemade food is a reason to rejoice and celebrate. So Awesome! Of course...
Read moreHorrible experience. Menu totally different and difficult to read and navigate. Parking is a nightmare, sharing it with a grocery store, so no where for us to park close due to shoppers at every other store sharing the same parking lot. Little to no extra space for anyone to sit while waiting inside, so standing outside is only option (no seating outside) if more than one party is waiting inside. No outdoor speaker, so soft spoken host calls names outside, barely able to hear him and people were skipped. Party of 11 was called for nearly 10 minutes before they would move onto next waiting group's name. Horrible layout for any croud control/flow. Paying where others are checking in etc. Seated with less glasses/mugs than our party had. Slow service. Food took longer than ideal to get, and then was less than eatable. Hair on sausages, sausage undercooked, breakfast potatoes squishy, greasy, undercooked. Scrambled eggs garnished with STRONG scallions, but this is not mentioned on menu as a garnish. I am allergic to them. Waffle was the only really enjoyable item we got. Glasses were filthy that were brought out, as kitchen "ran out of glasses" and had to speed clean them. Water in milk jar had floating debris... Other tables around us complained too. Seating is family style for a large wall, so we had to share our conversations with 4 other tables, and one large booth seat for us all to sit on together. All 3 of our meals were comped for our issues, and we will never be back again. Worst experience I've had in a restaurant, and we...
