Salon Ado — Attraction in Kansas City

I have been to Salon Ado twice and visited different stylists each time. Both times they did exactly what I asked for, if not a better job than I imagined. I have seen Caitlyn and Emily. This is the only salon is Kansas City I have returned to after my first appointment. Not only was my hair cut and color (both times) high quality, but the atmosphere is great too. All the stylists are kind and talkative, and the inside is always decorated chic and beautiful.

I moved to Kansas City from Chicago area a few years ago, and since I moved to KC, I have had the hardest time finding a good salon that I ended up just setting my hair appointments solely at my salon at Chicago whenever I traveled to visit family. I am very happy I found salon Ado and will no longer have to travel far for a hair appointment!...

I just left with my hair saved and heart full! I had an appointment with McKensie and she helped confirm that I did need a bang trim but didn't need to mess with anything else, as I had just chopped off 7 inches two months ago with the intention to grow the length of my hair out again. I was a nervous wreck because I just gotten the details of the brain surgery I'll be having in a few weeks. She talked me through how I could still come in even during recovery and get a dry cut so I could maintain my bangs and their crazy fast growth.

The salon itself is clean and comfortable. I was with Emily for a haircut and brow wax. She was very friendly and eager, but I felt like she didn’t hear or understand the majority of what I was asking her to do. At the risk of things going shorter ... and shorter ... I gave up on trying to make it work, and left. I was there for quite a long time while she tried to sort out what I was asking for, but ultimately ended up giving me the exact cut and brows I asked NOT to have. I spent almost $80, then went home and cried about how stupid I’m going to look at the party this weekend with my triangle hair and asymmetrical...
