I can't say enough about this gem of a hot dog shop in Kansas City. Depending on the day, I might ask for a Vienna Beef Chicago Dog: the snap of the hotdog and the super fresh toppings will level up your hot dog eating experience. If I’m really hungry, I will ask Morty to make me an Italian beef combo which contains an Italian sausage alongside Morty’s own savory Italian Beef. I’m not sure how Morty does it, but the combination of flavors on this sandwich is amazingly delicious. Morty's exceptional service – it's a veteran-owned establishment—is outstanding. Well, first of all let me say I’m on a sodium restricted diet. I thought hey let’s try. It sounds good, but all I could taste was the sodium. Now my son loved it and he’ll be going back, but I will not . I tried a couple different dogs and their Italian beef sandwich. I don’t think my son ordered his Italian beef sandwich as wet, but it was so wet that by the time we got home which is about 15 minutes away his sandwich came through the bag and he left a mess on the floor of my car.
