Club Pilates — Attraction in Katy

I have had the worst experience at this place and wish I could leave 0 stars. I came in and signed up while pregnant. Shortly after, I got placed on bedrest by my doctor and I only got to do a couple of classes. I decided to still wait until my agreement was up (instead of canceling early) and continued to pay each month despite not using any of my sessions.

I went in in person and canceled the first moment I could. I asked the front desk person if I would be charged for the following month and she said no because I canceled in time. She said I would be charged for July but not August. August rolls around and I get charged. I go in in person again and she gives me the managers number. I speak to the manager on the phone and she tells me that I did cancel in time and she will refund me and all is good. I wait 2 months and still no refund. I emailed the ma ager twice with no response and then send a slightly stronger worded email and she emails back that she no longer works there and gives me the new person's name. I email them and they respond saying I won't be refunded because I didn't cancel in time to not get charged for the next month. I responded back with the dates I canceled and explaining that the other manager already confirmed I did and promised I would get refunded. I got no response. I have followed up with the new manager multiple times all with no response.

This place is a scam! Save yourself some serious trouble and just take Pilate at lifetime or somewhere else! I enrolled in February and since the schedule did not work, I cancelled my membership in April and talked to the manager Leslie in person. She said she cancelled my membership, but I have to pay for 3 months before it cancels which suppose to have the last payment on April 27th. On May 27th, I noticed I got charged another 199; when I reached out to Leslie, she said I needed to sign the cancellation email and I need to pay for another month. I did my cancellation in person and got my consent to cancel and she could have given me a print out to sign, instead she said she emailed me, while I thought it’s done and I got a confirmation email. As a physician I have a busy schedule and don’t like to waste time for businesses that scam you like this, so I have disputed my charges for May and if I get charged again, I surly will take legal action. As I read the previous review, obviously they are doing this to other people by overcharging after the cancellation either, and they keep charging the credit card without our consent. I used the classes 3 times and cancelled after 6 weeks but I had to pay for 3 months to cancel total of $648.00 and I got charged again after 3 payments another 199 for a total of $848.00 for just using the classes 3 times, if this is not a scam business, what else do you call it! I have had a horrible experience dealing with this studio when canceling my membership. I canceled my membership back in March and have continued to be charged in May. Reaching this studio to try to deal with this situation has been a nightmare. There have been several occasions where it took upwards of 10 calls just to be able to speak to someone. They do not answer calls and they do not respond to voicemails. Whenever I was able to finally speak to someone, I was assured that my cancelation had been successful and that I would receive a refund for the money charged in May. This did not happen.

I would call again 2 weeks later to see what was going on and was assured that I would be receiving my refund within 48 hours, this again did not happen. Finally, I filed a dispute with my bank after complete lack of communication and it was followed by another charge of $186 from Club Pilates! It has been a cycle of trying to reach them and being straight up lied to about receiving my refund and continuing to wrongfully charge me more money. I do not recommend this studio. Complete waste of time and money and they will ignore any sort of communication or attempts at solving any issues you have. Do not come here, go somewhere else and save yourself...
