This beach has a great location for people in the Poipu, Kiahana plantation and kukui'ula areas. It is not endless stretches of perfect sand because volcanic rocks interupt the spanse. They add some fun for family members with areas good for walking/exploring. The surf can be a bit active, which makes for good surfing for those less than diehard professional. There is an occasional food truck parked across the street. For those with deeper pockets, the Beach House is located at one end.
