Baby Beach — Attraction in Kauai

This is a great beach if you want less crowds. The beach is clean and is pretty secluded for most of the day. We were here during sunset on one of the weekdays and there were less than 10 people at the beach. Parking space is extremely limited and there are no facilities (restrooms, picnic tables etc). A lot of homes along this street are luxury vacation rentals. The sunset was beautiful but the west view is obstructed so you can't see the sun setting...

Morning shade but none by midday, shallow areas for kids to play, mostly protected from waves by a reef, although some small waves make it through to most of the beach, but there is one super sheltered section which is great for toddlers. The main part of tge Beach is mostly rocky after you go out a little. But ok for snorkeling...

A good beach for kids since the water is shallow and fairly calm with all the ricks breaking the surf. A decent snorkeling spot for beginners but is much more difficult to break past the surf to the other side of the wave break where the current is much stronger.
