Princeville Center — Attraction in Kauai

I live in Hanalei and get up to the shopping center now and then. There is a very good Ace hardware store there- it has a very extensive inventory and sells individual screws and such. The Foodland is very fancy store compared to the Big Save in Hanalei Town. It is the biggest store on the North Shore- you have to go to Kapa'a to the Safeway to get better, which may explain the high prices. You need to get a rewards card as their prices are very high without it. Basically if you use the card you might get the same price as at the Big Save. And they have all the fancy, expensive stuff, which I don't much buy. They do have a good deli counter with 5 kinds of poke, all very fresh, plus sushi, plus the deli stuff, plus lunch plates. Produce is extensive but expensive, but then it is everywhere on Kaua'i. The Big Save is a better deal for what they carry, at least for locals, since they have very deep sales on things like canned goods and dry goods, so you can load up at sales on...

The Princeville Shopping center provides you with the necisary items when you need them while visiting the North Shore, or if you live nearby in the local communities. The Grocery Store although showing its age is well cared for and well stocked. You will find all the things you missed while shopping in Lahue. You will also find an ACE hardware store if you need tools or items to fix something. If your interested in realestate there are a number or realtors located in the center. Outside of this there are a number of gift shops to find that perfect gift to take home. Last but not least is the food. The food court shops provide Thi and Mexican food. I shop and eat in Princeville several times a week. The Princeville Center has many options for purchasing clothing, shoes, gifts, toys, jewelry, art and beach gear. They have a hardware store, ice cream shop, well stocked Foodland, activities concession, Post Office and Mail Center, Bank, Real Estate offices,and yoga studio more. There are several restaurants, a high end dinner place like Piazza, a specialty breakfast/coffee place like the The Spot Northshore, and more; Thai, Tiki Bar, sandwich shop and the deli at the Foodland, however it is still missing something.
