Viaero Center — Attraction in Kearney

First, I want to start off by saying that I hold no fault on the artists and bands playing during our event! My daughter and I went there for the music and we were not disappointed! Chancey and Parker are favorites in our house! However, we purchased tickets on floor with assigned seats. There was no “pit” area shown so I went ahead and purchased floor seats with the understanding that our experience wouldn’t be impeded. The beginning of the night was nice, everyone stayed to their seats and we had a blast! But before the headliner even started we were pushed out of our seats and area by drunk and unruly kids. I understand they are there for a good time but there should have been a designated area for them to go! Or don’t sell assigned seats for floor area. My 14 year old and I had beer, bottles and even people falling and tripping on us before Parker even took stage. Chairs were tossed and flipped and Security did nothing really. We kept moving but ultimately no area was safe except the concourse where you couldn’t see the stage. Paid for good seats, had an awful experience. I know we weren’t the only ones upset either, the disdain was noticeable on several faces. Definitely makes my choice to come again for...

Viaero provides excellent service in Western and Central Nebraska and Eastern Colorado. They are a GSM provider so you roam on T-Mobile and AT&T. They compete mainly with Verizon in the Kearney area. Excellent customer service and helpful employees. They will help you set up jailbroken iPhones on their system. They also have a few employees that are very active on the howard forums. Prices are typically lower then Verizon and they offer to buyout contracts. The calling circle plan they offer has 20 numbers, so using minutes is never really a problem.

The only downsides are phone selection and 3G. They don't have much selection for smart phones (At the moment, they only have two Android devices, and they are older and slower devices). I have an unlocked HTC/Google Nexus One and my wife has an unlocked Nokia N97 which both work great with their SIM card.

They also have no 3G service available yet (as of 08-09-10) but they are supposed to be rolling it out before the end...

If you attend an event at the Viero Event Center, be sure to make SURE you eat before you go. The prices of the concessions are beyond outrageous! It's cheaper to go and eat at Applebees or Old Chicago than to literally order a cheap tasting hotdog and soda. If you want to order a small hamburger you'll pay $8. This is absolutely unacceptable. The price of alcohol is like going to professional concert. Brooks, the owner, has also dropped beer selection to about three choices. Trust me, you'll pay through the nose for these "Vast" choices. If you're willing to pay, Pay no mind to this. The Storm hockey games are awesome. I highly recommend Storm games. If you support these boys, you are supporting their very future. All in all it's a fun place to attend events. My only advice is to avoid...
