The food is good, I get the impossible burger and it's a nice treat! A treat because two burger with one side was around $30, absolutely worth it if the service didn't fall completely short! Placing the order was weird and the lady who took my order had NO customer service, not even thanking me for my business! When I got there I stood there for awhile while at least four free workers were standing around, it would have been so easy for them to acknowledge me and lead me to the bar, where carryouts were being taken care of. It wasn't busy but there was an obvious lack of communication as they were trying to give me an item that belonged to an order that had already taken off, I'm sure those customers weren't too thrilled when they received their food! Sat down at home to eat my food and it was good except the veggies were soggy and gross. One tiny piece of lettuce, two onions even though the second burger had a PILE of onion....WHYYY?? Anyways luckily I had my own fresh veggies to add to my burger to make it the perfect burger it should have been! This place is great if only they could get their staff to care!
There's this show call Mystery dinners which is about amazing restaurants that aren't doing as well as they should only because of their hourly employees that are ruining the business...kinda reminds me of that...

My recent visit to Angus Burgers & Shakes in Kearney, Nebraska, was a delightful experience that's worth sharing. This place stands out with its impressive array of burger options. Each burger on the menu is thoughtfully crafted, offering a diverse range of flavors and toppings that cater to all tastes.
In addition to their burgers, Angus Burgers & Shakes offers a fantastic selection of shakes, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. They also have a respectable array of adult beverages, making it a great spot for both casual and slightly upscale dining experiences.
The atmosphere at Angus Burgers & Shakes was warm and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. The service was commendable, with attentive and friendly staff that ensured a pleasant visit.
However, it's worth noting that the prices were a bit on the higher side. While the quality of the food and the overall experience somewhat justify the cost, a more moderate pricing would definitely encourage more frequent visits.
Overall, Angus Burgers & Shakes in Kearney offers a great dining experience with its wide selection of burgers, delightful shakes, and a decent selection of beverages. It's a place I'd recommend for a treat, especially if you're in the mood for a gourmet burger in a...
Read moreI came into this restaurant about 1:00 p.m. it was 90% empty the rude hostess girl had an attitude when I said I wanted to sit at a table in the front window to keep an eye on my high value cargo shipment that was parked outside she told me I couldn't sit at the table that seats eight because "they would need that for a party of eight".
I looked around the empty restaurant and said what are you talking about this place is empty? She responded with "well it fills up fast" with an attitude
I sat down at the table and got the healthier burger I could find on the menu with the avocado and the pico de gallo, the shredded lettuce was overdressed with the vinaigrette which dominated the entire burger and dripped all over the place. The beef was good is my best guess though I could hardly taste it over all the vinaigrette.
For a $16 burger with no side- this place could do a lot better, the burger should be superb for that price and it should come with a side and you should have someone at the front end with more common sense and better customer service skills.
In the time I ordered waited for my food ate my lunch and left not a single person walked into this restaurant, it sure does "fill up fast". I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, nor would I come back again.
Overpriced, bad service,...
