Beautiful hotel. The lobby, front desk, and lounge areas are decorated beautifully. Very, very clean. The elevators and hallways are aesthetically pleasing and clean. Something I find that helps set the tone for our stay in such a positive way.
It’s a very quiet hotel, which I love. We drove in and had been awake 48 hours prior to check in. We literally unpacked and went straight to bed at 3:30 pm, with the sun still up. The blackout curtains helped, but the quietness was everything. We heard nothing from the other rooms, the hallway or the parking lot. For a light sleeper this started us off on the right foot. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are soft and the thermostat is easy to control.
The breakfast has an assortment of items. Always a protein (bacon one day, sausage another), eggs cooked differently per day (omelette, scrambled). Breads (toast, bagels), make your own waffles. There were breakfast bagels one day, biscuits and gravy the next. Cereals, juices, coffee, and even a soda machine. They really cover their bases so there’s something for everyone.
My favorite feature: Hot water! Too many hotels have a scald guard that, while safe for guests with children, makes the rest of us take tepid showers. I want hot water. Anything less and it makes me cold. The water takes a few minutes to warm up, but it gets nice and hot. Absolutely perfect!
The front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming. They were quite helpful with anything we asked. Olena was very warm, welcoming and kind. Exactly what we needed when arriving travel-weary.
The housekeeping staff is second to none! Evelyn is just exceptional!! She is worth her weight in gold. She has an eye for detail, and goes above and beyond! I mean extra, over the top quality and care with every aspect of the room. She is a credit to your brand!
The pool is indoor. There are chairs and tables all around. The hot tub is spacious, the pool is large, and there’s a nice shallow shelf that extends quite a ways for little ones. There were plenty of towels folded and ready for use, but none were left lying around. They keep the area picked up and tended to.
We had no problem parking. And found quite a few restaurants and eateries in close proximity. The location puts so many choices for food very nearby. A huge plus. And Uber Eats delivers right to the room.
We were more than pleased with our stay here! Definitely a keeper for whenever we’re in Kearney...

The hot breakfast buffet was honestly the best I've had at a hotel. The waffle station had two flavors and the irons did mini waffles. There were egg bagel bite things, omlettes, a nice oatmeal bar, pastries, cereal. Basically what you would expect from a hot hotel breakfast but a bit upgraded. Coffee was good and I loved to see hot water, decaf, light roast, and dark roast available. The space was nice and open with no one tripping over each other. Someone came around and cleaned the tables regularly.
The room was clean with lots of fluffy bathroom towels. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern with friendly front desk staff.
I just spent $200 at a hotel in Omaha which had no amenities and even charged for a toothbrush, so I felt the value was definiltey there for this hotel.
The pet fee is higher than average at $75 (normally I see $25 per pet) but I'm glad they allow pets.
Would absolutely...
Read moreWarning to Diamond & Gold members, they don't honor normal upgrade requests you're used to at EVERY other Hilton property on the planet. Only reason I stay here is a great mexican restaurant (El Limon) two blocks away. Worst service consistently of any Hilton property I've stayed at. For some reason the locals have a very anti customer service attitude from the gas station to grocery stores to some of the staff here. Don't get it. They seem annoyed having to do their jobs. That's beyond this property to be fair, but the staff here minus a couple of folks are strangely arrogant on the CS side. Maybe they assume there's no where else to stay that doesn't suck? Probably a management issue and maybe the cost vs occupancy ratio hasn't lived up to forecast, but to be sure, the level of service here is sub par relative to the vast majority of Hamptons and Hilton properties nationwide for over 25 years. Very nice new property but owners might be a little myopic or ignorant of other models cuz this is not the Hampton experience I'm used to after several stays over...
