I vacationed at the Kennebunk Inn last month and they suggested that I go the The Blue for coffee and breakfast. It was the best choice in town ! The first day I went I purchased several cups of coffee, bagels, danishes, croissants and I can’t remember what else but brought it back to the Inn and gave it to all who I was staying with and they loved it. Next day we all decided to walk over there and enjoyed all types of food and drink. The service and atmosphere was excellent and I even spoke with the owner and learned we have deep connections from were we are both from. A small world we live in . Anyways Kennebunk is a wonderful town and we already plan on coming back next year and when we do I will have my breakfast menu planned for "The Blue"...

The Blue is my favorite place to grab a coffee, bagel or muffin. Everything taste great and the shop is as great place to sit and enjoy your food. The staff is great, knows me by name and is always down for a pleasant conversation. If you are looking for a drink (Beer and Wine, too!) or a bite to eat I recommend you try it!

EDIT: It's been more than a year since I wrote this review. I now work in Portland. This is still my favorite coffee shop. Over time the owner has found new creative ways to make delicious food as well as partnering with local venues (Texas Grace) for awesome food. They still no my name, and I've yet to find a spot in Portland that offers the...

Stopped in around 10am, parked on the side of the street. Lots of seats; comfortable ones at that. Some nice space for some table-top activities they got there to pass the time. I ordered an espresso drink to go. Idk if it’s dependent on the type of drink I got, but the to-go cups are VERY VERY small. I probably paid $4 for something less than 12 ounces (a typical size small). The espresso was definitely a dark roast with an intensely bold flavor, though the flavor shot I got did not mix well and distracted from it. Overall a very modern-rustic vibe going on inside. I’m also slightly impressed that they offer pour-overs too. I’ll try visiting again in the...

We stopped in for brunch and really enjoyed the food, the breakfast sandwiches were delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience pleasant from start to finish. The only thing that kept it from being a full five stars was that our coffee was served in to-go cups, even though we were dining in. It would have been nice to enjoy our drinks in real mugs to match the cozy sit-down brunch vibe. Overall, though, it’s a great spot with tasty food and warm service, we’ll definitely be back!

Quaint and very clean coffee shop in Kennebunk ME. Attractive decor with options for food, beverage and some retail. Overall was very good. It was setup a little odd, where you ordered from the bar but then you went to the back of the restaurant to pickup food. I had coffee and a bagel. I personally didn’t like that they didn’t put cream cheese on the bagel, but that’s a hot button for me. The coffee was above average. Overall a good spot for baked items, smoothies and coffee. It’s right on Main Street so it’s a great location.
