I didn't think I was going to buy anything but one of the employees gave me such an amazing deal on all the things I had my eyes on so I couldn't resist! 😂❤️ Ended up buying 3 amethysts, 2 quartz points and an orthoceras fossil. Beyond happy! Thank you for all your help(wasn't sure if I should put his name or not) but thanks so much! ❤️😍🥰.

This place is a hidden little gem with so much to choose from! Even though it was my very first time going here, I was treated like family and the employees were so helpful. I've been searching for an opal ring(on Etsy) and came across so many lab/man made, fake ones claiming to be real/authentic but they are actually being purchased from Alibaba and Temu and then turned around and sold on Etsy for SEVERAL times more than what they are sold for on those other sites. I'm beyond thankful I found Jerry's Rock and Gem! I felt fully confident in knowing my raw opal ring is 100% authentic! I feel awful I didn't catch the name of the male employee that helped me but he went above and beyond and was so patient and amazing! I have zero clue about any of this stuff and he took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions without making me feel stupid or rushed to pick something out. I've been a customer of Jerry's Rock & Gem in Kent for over 15+ years. The personalized customer service from the owner's Joan & Glen is consistently exceptional!!! Travis and the laid back JR&G team is always very friendly and helpful. (This shop goes out of their way to remember their customers and they make time to talk to them.)

The custom precious stone jewelry by Joan is exceptional and Glen can customize/redesign any type of jewelry+. (It's also a full service jewelry design and repair shop that stands behind their products and work) Travis has been a part of the JR&G team for quite awhile. He's very knowledgeable, personable and he always has great ideas to fit any budget. His passion for genuine rocks and fossils is quite contagious!!!

There's a bit of everything here and I've always found unique gifts. If you're looking for something in particular, they'll have it or will get it for you. My latest find at JR&G was a world globe made from a variety of precious stones. It's beautiful!!!

The people are awesome, and the owner is a total geek! There are Star Wars and Alien merchandise (nice ones) hidden in with the rocks and fossils.

The first time I passed it I saw the dinosaurs and immediately turned around. I have been hooked ever since. There are Dino footprints on the pavement to the door, and huge 3d dinos on the building. There is even a huge overstock of beautiful (okay beautiful to a geology nerd) specimens out back.

The prices are great, and the store has a science feel to it. There is a fluffy, chill cat there that likes to sit among the replica fossils and lounge adorably on the counter; something my allergic friend had to leave early because of (she took benadryl and was later able to function in the store without a problem).

There is a trilobite that was well over a foot large. Tumbled and raw minerals. FOSSILS! SO MANY FOSSILS! Jewelry of all kinds. Rings ready for settings. Mt. St. Hellen volcanic glass. Every type of rock, some meteorites, and beautiful pieces. Carved labrodorite. Ambers from South America and the Baltic Sea. Glass fused by the first atomic blast. Raw copper. Raw everything! Prices vary depending on what you are looking at.
