We usually order the traditional bone in wings medium for takeout they are always good. We decided to eat in on 01/28/25 to watch the UK Basketball game while ordering our normal go to dinner. The wings were good as usual. The atmosphere not so much not a lot of friendly faces as far as the employees that I saw. The bartender wasn't on top of it at all - literally had to ask for a beer everytime ( i hate that) if my bottle is empty ask me if I want another its really not that hard! I ordered bottled beer had to ask for a frosty mug because the bottle wasn't cold enough for my liking - my husband was drinking draft and instead of the bartender putting it in a cold glass she literally just grabs one that was just washed and feels it up so now his beer is cool at best to say the least not ice cold as you see advertised on the website. If they had been really busy I would just suck it up to well they are busy and don't have enough employees - BUT they were not that busy at all several open bar stools at the bar and several open tables - but what I saw was a bunch of younger employees standing around talking with each other or on their phones. A few of the employees was even sitting at a table with guest and I get that maybe you know them or whatever but you have to keep it short and sweet and wait on your customers that's why you there to begin with. Also no hot water in bathroom to wash hands. I'm not sure if this location is under new management or not but in the past we never experienced bad service. The food is good and the...
Read moreNormally I love roosters. I havent had it in years until last night. I went out with a few friends for the first time in a very long time bought some drinks, the nest appetizer and 20 garlic traditional bone in wings. The nest appetizer has the Korean BBQ ( the appetizer is basically your choice of fries wedges or tots with all kinds of stuff that is great on it with 4 wings of choice) the qongs on top of it was good but the cook took the sauce and left my food drowned in it. I dont like being rude to people in restraunts and I was incredibly polite. The worst part was the wings I got were suppossed to be garlic ( which they were strangley huge which got me excited) the wings were only fried no flavor or anything on them. It was strange to say the least. I didn't eat all day before going , I need to say that to be fair, but after trying to eat some of my food my stomach started to turn. But the wings if you lifted the pile you could see tiny amount of what seemed like watered down sauce. They were tasteless and very expensive. I will probably give roosters one more chance in georgetown eventually but it might be quite awhile. When I try it again if it's better I will update my review...
Read moreI LOVE SOME GEORGETOWN KY ROOSTERS!!!!
About 6 months ago, I tried using my egift cards, but they came up invalid or no monies even tho they were never used & my email stated balances on both cards, so i had to pay cash. I was told by the main office that the issues were fixed & I could use the cards in the future.
Today i went to use them again & same issues.
The poor manager worked with me for 30-40 mins, emailed the card info to the main office to report same issues, then gave me an actual Roosters Card to replace the egift cards so I didn't have to pay cash.
Im so appreciative of the time & compassion this young man showed me in order to rectify my issues!!! I WILL continue to eat at & recommend the ROOSTERS in Georgetown KY, especially after the OUTSTANDING service I received. I hope after this compliment, your company finds him. He deserves a special recognition from upper management in regards to his compassion, work ethics, and his patience to follow thru to resolve the issues at hand. I was there today on Father's Day, around 2:30 - 3:00 pm, and it involved 2 egift cards.
So I'm shouting from my rooftop, THANK YOU ROOSTERS, and I can't wait...
