MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Kentucky

Review update. I had lunch today at this MOD location. The music volume level has improved immensely! I could actually hold a normal toned conversation with my co worker and not scream. Thank you so much! Now I can give this location 5 stars from 1.

I absolutely love the food! The employees and customer service is great! THE MUSIC IS WAY TOO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the reason for one star. I have been here about four times. With a female friend and also with co workers. You literally cannot talk about work or anything in the place. I feel like I am at a club! I took my son to MOD Pizza located at Tates Creek Rd in Lexington, KY today. What a pleasant experience! The music was great and subdued. I could actually have a normal toned conversation with my son. So pleasant! My date hated the loud music. My coworkers hated the loud music as well. Lose the live concert loud music? 5 stars. Otherwise 1 star for this location. Get rid of the BLASTING LOUD MUSIC!!!!!!! I WISH THAT I COULD YELL IT INTO THE OWNERS EARS AT A 1000 DECIBELS!!!!!

I strongly suggest that those of you that gave 4 or 5 stars go to Tates Creek location in Lexington. You will give less stars. Please let Management at this location that the music is absolutely too much! I know that many of you would agree. Tone down the great music. Great music. But for the all that is holy? My first MOD pizza experience, I've looked forward to trying MOD Pizza and was not disappointed. Plenty of staff ready for the lunch rush, they walked me through the crusts and size options, then said any toppings I want for the same price, what?!

The staff was friendly in adding toppings, and despite being a pizza place, offered dairy free cheese! Admittedly, this is why I wanted to try MOD Pizza. Despite both my date and I being fans of thicker crust, we enjoyed the crispy snap texture of the thin crust, the flavor of the pizza sauce, the wonderful variety of toppings. Everything was fresh and quick.

It's a bit more expensive than other quick lunch options in the area, but the only way you'll be disappointed is if you didn't ask for the toppings you really wanted.

Plenty of parking at the time of this review, but I can see how that might be an issue in the future as the both Verizon and Starbucks open next door and share the lot.

This is a nice convenient concept. We ate here a few days in a row as it was one of the few places in the area with any sort of vegan friendly options. The regular crust is very thin and burns easy so I personally preferred the thicker crust which, to me, was more of a regular crust. The pizzas are fairly small, depending on what sizes you are used to, but for the price, it's a really good deal and you can get multiples if feeding more than one or two. The toppings do not increase the price, making it an even more affordable option, and the small size pizza is perfect if you have kids. I give the overall score of 4 as we ate in the last night and it is loud in the restaurant and the temperature in the dining area was quite cool, blowing cold air directly on us. We were there eating in as well as one other couple and it was cold enough, all diners were in sweaters/coats. We did mention to the manager about the temp and she said she would adjust but she was very busy helping on the line so I'm not sure if she had the chance to, or if she just didn't adjust the...
