NEVER AGAIN. It’s obvious that many of the five star reviews are from people with stronger relationships than being patrons. Customer service was equally as awful over the phone as it was in store. The girl answered the phone with nothing but “hello?” After conforming that I had the right number, it got worse when I asked questions about the menu. The girl didn’t know if the crab was real and then said “I don’t think so” after I had her go ask. Then, she told me the rolls had to be three different rolls when I tried to order three tuna rolls (cheapest on the deal list). We determined that was false. Lastly, when I went to pick them up, the girl that rang me out pulled the receipt out from under my hand and walked away. No greeting (even after I said hello), no order review, no goodbye. Gyoza dumplings and Miso soup were good, spicy tuna roll was HORRIBLE. I called to ask about it and I was told it was pre-mixed (not fresh like advertised), and that most people don’t like it spicy so they make it without spice. It’s called SPICY tuna roll, it’s suppose to be spicy. It tasted like tuna from a can and was not even remotely good. I was told I could only return it to the store (it’s below freezing outside and after dark). So I get up there and I’m told they were going to remake it. NO. Ordered steak hibachi when they brought it to me the plate was separated by 3 compartments. 2 small compartments for the sides and 1 large compartment for the entree. When I got my meal the large part was filled up with fried rice and the 2 small compartments consisted of vegetables in one and steak in the other. So it seems to me I ordered steak hibachi and not fried rice with steak and vegetables as sides. Not being a regular here now I know why. Working families who are budget conscious would be aware that this place isn’t budget friendly. They rip you off with the entrees and load you down with fried rice.
