Absolutely pathetic; both this location and Alpine. Called Saturday the 15th and spoke to some woman to check about a battery and was told it was on a pallet and needed to filled and charged but I could pick it up the next day Sunday the 16th. Called back today the 16th to the 28th street location to confirm its ready and yet I'm told it's not on the shelf yet and it would be ready the next day yet again by this guy as well as they typically require the purchase first filling them and charging them with any priority so basically they can just stock them at their leisure. I wasn't told anything about having to purchase upfront the previous when I just could have then. Both representatives apparently show no initiative or care for the consumer to sell a product to them effectively and efficiently as is their job or to work out anything due to their own error and speed up the process. I told them I'll go somewhere else; I don't even care about spending a little more to go to a direct motorcycle dealer now because at least they have their shit together. Oh look they sent a typical auto reply as seen below; happens to be the same one I got after I reviewed the other location not answering their phone calls for 30 minutes. Read moreI've shattered my phone screen three times, and I always take it to Batteries Plus to get it fixed. While I've always had a good experience with the employees, and been impressed at the speed they're able to make repairs, every time I've gone, there has been a lasting issue to my phone that has arisen after repairs. After my first visit, my phone's 0.5x camera no longer worked and whenever I opened the camera, it always zoomed in to 2x. The second time I went, a different employee stripped one of the screws for the screen and was unable to fix it. I had to use pliers to get it out. And, while I'm not fully blaming Batteries Plus for this, last week, about a day after they fixed my phone at a new location for me, the WiFi and Bluetooth were unable to connect, even after resetting the network settings. Again, I have always had a good experience with the employees, and they have been very speedy when it comes to replacing the screen, but I'd HIGHLY suggest taking my recommendation with a grain of salt. One issue may pile up after another, and it will cost you a lot of cash. Read moreBe careful with this store. I don't trust it anymore. Took my watch here to have a battery replaced and they messed up the watch. It was working fine until the battery gave out, but the day after it was replaced I noticed it wasn't working properly. I took it back in and they supposedly sent it to a shop they partner with to get it checked out and when it came back they said all it needed was to be cleaned and they don't do that. I didn't believe the watch needed a cleaning since it was still newer so my husband took my watch to a local jewelry store that is owned by a family we know and they said it was damaged while the battery was being replaced. Thankfully it was fixable. The whole process from start to finish with this store was not a good experience, they couldn't even find my watch at one point when I called to check on its status after it had been sent in (because it had been more than a couple of weeks). I also saw another customer really upset because he had been waiting there for an hour to have his car battery replaced.
