The staff is helpful, and you are almost certain to find whatever jig, router bit, blade, or saw that you are looking for. If you've been shopping the floor at Home Depot or Menards for woodworking tools and supplies, you will be blown away. They have an incredible selection of power tools that you won't find anywhere else in the city, maybe the state. Come drool over that majesty of a $4500 Saw Stop beauty, and then get ready to drop your jaw on the floor looking through that myriad of exotic lumber available at a really decent price.
Also, sign up for the newsletter. This one is worth it for all types of woodworkers. New recruits to the trade will vastly benefit from the classes and free demos offered, and seasoned veterans will be knocked over by the special buy deals on wood that comes through the place at random, and rightfully so goes quickly. Read moreLooking to invest in my new hobby I stopped by to check out table saw options. After getting no help i walked around the store smiled and said hello to a couple associates but got zero acknowledgement. Went back to the saws and stood there like a dummy while the associates chatted to each other.
The store looked to have an amazing supply of tools, jigs, and wood but lacked in service. Prices appeared to all be at MSRP or higher which I'm willing to pay if it comes with service. At least I can read reviews on amazon and with free two day shipping and lower prices my decision to not support local seems to be an easy one for today. I will try them out again in the future as I don't like to let one poor experience frame my entire opinion...
