My daughter and I recently took a tour during Spring Break. It was one of the Best day-cations we've had in a while. We live locally and to be honest neither of us could remember the last time we took a tour. The self guided tour was Great! The information and guide posts along the tour we're both interesting and informative. My daughter really enjoyed the Scavenger Hunt. She got every answer right but one. 😊 We both really enjoy history, so this was a perfect outing for us. The breakfast nook and the reception hall were by far my favorite rooms in the house. The breakfast nook had Amazing windows and a sunroof, for a complete 360° of natural light. I definitely need one in my home. Korner's Folly is a great tour spot for kids/youth groups, families, anyone who Loves local history, architecture and art. My daughter and I are already making plans to return...

I’ve never had such a good time at a museum before! They had a scavenger hunt to do, an informational video to watch, the tour is self guided so you can go at your own pace, they also had a picture challenge to do (attached is our results), AND their pet raccoon named Bob has activities for you to do along the way (they’re clearly meant for children but we had a great time playing them as adults too). There are some tight squeezes as people were much smaller back then so if you’re wider than the average Joe or freakishly tall like my brother (not pictured) than it may be a little uncomfortable for you. Some of the ceilings were as low as 5.5 feet and some passageways are just wide enough for me to walk through. For reference, we are...

What a gem! Quirky places like this are admittedly totally up my alley, but still, Korner's Folly exceeded my (fairly high) expectations big time! I went while they had their Christmas decorations up, and the job they did getting every room uniquely decked from corner to corner... not to mention in a way that effectively highlighted each room's own "personality"... was just super-impressive and clearly 100% a labor of love. I spent several hours admiring the work, soaking in all of the truly wonderful holiday magic and joy, and thoroughly enjoying learning about the house and being immersed in all the gorgeous decorations and holiday spirit the entire time. Pretty much a perfect stop in every...

We enjoyed our trip to Korners Folly. The house is a part of history, and we enjoyed walking the house and the property. This activity is NOT recommended for anyone unable to climb stairs or navigate under low ceilings. The tours are self guided and start right up till 3 o'clock (one hour before closing). There are plenty of parking and tickets were fairly reasonable for a quick activity. This was my second visit, and time was nice because renovation work back in 2021 is complete, and many of the rooms were slightly different than before. If you like history and architecture this is the place for you. They are closed on Monday.
