Amended Review: Found out that the dress we bought from Bella's, and carefully made sure that a duplicate was NOT already sold to another student from our same high school, was in fact sold at Bella's the previous year as well. Meaning the EXACT same dress was sold at Bella's 2 years in a row. While sharing prom pics with friends, we saw a girl from our same HS who wore the EXACT same dress to prom the previous year. It was extremely disappointing to know that someone could have shown up to this year's prom in the exact same dress as my daughter. Bella needs to trace the dresses when they are sold from year to year and notify customers of this information. It should be up to the customer if they want to take the chance of buying a dress that is on repeat from the maker and store. You can't market yourself about tracking dresses, when the other competitors do not, and sell the exact same dress from one year to another. False advertisement. I did speak with manager and she did agree that the dress was sold both last year and this year and stated that they have NO way of tracking dresses from one year to the next. I suggested Google Excel to her.
Not gonna lie, I have 2 daughters and have managed to avoid Bella's until our final year in high school. Bella's is know for having high-end dresses with high-end prices. However, my daughter wanted to go out in a "bang" so we went to the "bang store" on-a-Sunday! It was just as crowded as I expected. We walked in and Mary greeted us so warmly. I found a chair and watched the organization of the dressing room! It was hard to determine who was employee vs a customer bc there were no name tags nor clothing that identified employees. But I began to watch the employees go back and forth putting dresses in rooms and back on the racks - like a well-oiled machine. Matti at dressing rooms was friendly and worked hard. Nikki, I presume a manager, helped us with a dress we found that had a tear in the seams. She offered us a discount and we very much appreciated that! Nikki and Emma checked us out with excellent service and my daughter got her...
Read moreBack story, about 2 years ago i found Bella’s Boutique on instagram and saw there dresses and just HAD to look at them and try them on for that upcoming homecoming, so i did, me and my mom walked in and picked out some pretty dresses, for size reference im a 00-000 depending on the place that i go to’s fabric, i tried up to 5 or 6 dresses on and all but one didn’t fit, the 00 fit more like a 2 which i didn’t complain about bc everywhere is going to be different. There was a sweet girl that helped me look up and down for a dress that fit and made me feel pretty in the one that did. The costumer service was great and even though i didn’t end up buying the dress i still loved the store and the dress that they did have.
Now, being 2 years later, i’m looking for a dress last Friday to wear on my upcoming homecoming. Mind you i’m still 00-000, i have gained a tad bit of weight so i figured i’d go back since i had such a good experience last time. Me and my dad walk into bellas boutique and right away a girl asked me what i was looking for and pointed me to homecoming dresses, got me a fitting room started as i was picking dresses out, as im done picking dresses out and heading to the dressing rooms, i try 2 dresses on and both still didn’t fit like i was wanting, but as i was coming out and showing my dad saying they just don’t fit, all 4 girls that were standing in the fitting room area stood on there phones and didn’t one ask if they could get me a different dress in a different size or tell me that either of the dresses looked good, absolutely no interaction, made me feel super uncomfortable and i felt as if they were judging me the whole time. As me and my dad were walking out he stated that he wanted to leave and didn’t want to look at any other dress in the store and never wanted to come back, even he felt uncomfortable. Bellas boutique has some of the best dresses but needs to train their employees on costumer service, if that could be worked on this place would be...
Read moreFor the reputation that this store has, I was caught off guard by the customer service (or lack thereof). I came in looking for prom and cocktail dresses. When I walked in, one of the girls came to the front and asked what I was looking for. I showed her a picture of the dress and she helped me find a similar one in my size. I picked out a few other dresses by myself with hardly any interaction from the two employees. I went back to try on my dresses and the two employees sat on their phones outside of the changing room area. On of them sat on the floor. I felt so unwanted there that I did not even feel comfortable coming out of the dressing room to show my mom the dresses I was trying on. They were inattentive and we felt as if we were bothering them when we wanted to ask about a different size or color. Not to mention, we were the ONLY customers in the whole store. I was the only person trying on dresses and my mom stood outside of the changing room. I found a dress that I absolutely loved (picture is attached) but decided against getting it because of the horrible customer service. They lost out on a $659 sale. Do yourself a favor and go two stores down to Diana Warner for incredible customer service and a beautiful, timeless, extremely versatile...
