The Castle Gardens — Attraction in Kuna

I had my wedding at this venue in July. We had multiple meetings at the venue and were super excited to have my event held at The Castle Gardens. However, I’d quickly come to find out the management is a bit over their heads and understaffed for the grounds they care for. They were mowing the yard when my guests started to arrive. The venue itself wasn’t deep cleaned before hand, nor decluttered of things that didn’t belong in a venue setting. They told us the groomsmen suite would be finished by our wedding day to find out my husband and his groomsmen spent from 10am-3pm in an unfair conditioned garage that was used for household storage and not cleared for our event. I was also disappointed to find that the freezer in the venue was full, after we were assured it would be empty for wedding deserts. Mid-July I was blessed my family brought it in coolers, however I’m putting a warning out you may not be so lucky. When they say they’ll upkeep the yard be prepared for your wedding photos to have dead trees, large thistles, and a turned off fountain. My guests and professional photographer were yelled at during my reception that they could not take photos by the venues staff. I honestly was going to let everything go unsaid, but they refuse to send out the deposit we put down for the venue. At first I believed when they said they didn’t have our address, then I believed when they said they’d send it. However now it has been months and they are forcing us to get a lawyer involved. I’m very disappointed with the way The Castle Gardens currently does business.

On May 12th I went to a friends wedding at the Kuna Castle, it was a beautiful place, and the wedding was breath taking, but i was a bit disappointed with the management. I noticed the owner hovered through out the entire wedding, barking orders at my guest to clean things up (while the wedding was still going) I also saw him helping himself to a plate of food, from the catering company, that the bride and groom purchased. After the wedding we cleaned up and was ready to leave when he started yelling at the bride, that she need to haul off all the bags off garbage, which I thought was very unprofessional. For the amount of money that was paid to reserve the venue, i would have thought the owner would have taken care of the garbage removal. Especially since the bride and groom were responsible for cleaning up the entire venue, right after their wedding. I thought the wedding was beautiful, i just felt the owner could have been more respectful and...

The venue is beautiful and a wonderful location for us to share our special day with friends and family during a difficult time to find reasonably priced venues with Covid. The owners were so great to work with and gave us plenty of notice on requirements that needed to be met to use their space. The Castle made for the best pictures and our wedding is one guests are still talking about! Highly recommend for any special event or occasion!
