This is, without question, one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional golf courses in the area—especially if you’re a female golfer.
My wife and her group were repeatedly hit into by the group behind them—not once, but multiple times in rapid succession. One stray shot could be forgiven as an accident, but constant bombardment is outright dangerous and unacceptable.
When they reported this clear safety hazard to the marshal and the pro shop, their concerns were met with nothing but dismissiveness and indifference. Not only did the staff fail to address the issue, but they also acted as if my wife’s group was being unreasonable for expecting basic safety and courtesy.
Let me be clear: This was NOT a pace-of-play issue. My wife’s group was playing at the appropriate pace and even had to wait for the group ahead of them. The problem was pure negligence and the unwillingness of the staff to take a woman’s complaint seriously.
It’s infuriating to see a course so blatantly disregard the safety and well-being of its female players. They were left with no choice but to cut their round short due to the harassment and utter lack of support from course management.
Ladies, if you’re considering playing here, think twice. Your safety and concerns will be ignored, and the management will do nothing to protect you. This place clearly doesn’t care about providing a safe or respectful experience for everyone. Absolutely...
Read moreAn incident that occurred during my recent visit to your golf course that has left me extremely dissatisfied with the level of service provided by your establishment. Specifically, I will attempt again to lodge a formal complaint about an unprofessional drunk employee who I encountered on the premises.
After completing my round of golf, I was approached by an employee who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. This employee questioned why I was in the parking lot and advised me twice not to leave any trash on the ground. I found this behavior to be confrontational and unwarranted, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.
Furthermore, I attempted to file a complaint about this employee twice, both via phone and email, but my email bounced back, and I did not receive a response to my phone call. This lack of response is especially concerning, as it suggests that your establishment may not be taking customer complaints seriously.
As a paying customer, I expect to receive a high level of service and professionalism from your employees, and I feel that this was not the case during my recent visit. I strongly urge management to take appropriate action to address this incident and ensure that similar incidents do not occur...
Read moreWestridge has been my local course for 10+ years, always liked coming here even though the conditions weren't the best. Up until this last week I lived off Idaho and Sandlewood -- which you can see from the 13th hole tee box. After last Sunday, I'll never golf here again. Had a tee time as a foursome at 8:36am -- we did not tee off until 9:05am. On top of that, we waited on every tee box at least 5-10 minutes. 9 holes took us OVER 3 HOURS. There were multiple holes during our round where 4 groups were present on 1 hole (a group on the green, a group in the fairway, a group waiting on the box, and us behind) -- honestly, it was ridiculous. We ended up leaving after 9 holes. After the round, I attempted to talked to the manager but none were present... so they gave me a paper slip with Paul Hong's # and extension. I called on Monday morning -- straight to voicemail-- left a detailed message. Called again this morning and was told that their managers don't come in until 2 or 3pm?
Hmm, seems like they are trying to duck providing customer service for their lack of service. The experience my group and countless other groups had on Sunday is unacceptable. Don't spend your money here, they...
