Golden Spoon — Attraction in La Mesa

it's become our go-to frozen yogurt spot! every visit is a warm and inviting experience, from the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the most genuine smiles from the lovely couple who own the place. they go above and beyond to make you feel at home and their enthusiasm in giving out samples is infectious.

one of the things i love about this Golden Spoon is that they're more than happy to accommodate your preferences. i often bring my insulated cup to make my frozen yogurt last a bit longer, although i must admit that their yogurt is so incredibly delicious that i can't help but devour it quickly! they offer a wide variety of flavors and it's always a tough decision choosing which one to go for.

We’ve been regulars here for a few years now, but will not be returning. They have increased prices and decreased serving size of the froyo. Not only that but toppings aren’t included anymore. You pay an arm and a leg for them and on top of that they give you a tiny plastic spoonful of topping. So little it’s insulting. It’s been a shame to see this place go downhill over the last few years. Yogurt still tastes great, but totally not with it anymore. Will be looking for a new...

This is not self serve, and you pay extra for toppings. Most Froyo places now gave you pay by weight with whatever mix of toppings and froyo you want. Not this place.

Not only is it super overpriced but 3 toppings is an extra $2. Maybe you can get more than 1 flavor, not sure, it wasn't offered. Ended up spending like $25 for 2 mediums and a simple cone.
