My experience was very disappointing before I ask for service I requested a particular design ombre and a full set.. I was told that it could be done. My Nail Tech Nancy did my full set.. it was a painful experience, she was very heavy-handed when smoothing out the nail before applying the acrylic... I could feel the heat underneath my nail.. When the full was completed, my nails were very uneven. When it was time to do the Ombre color, Nancy switched out with another nail tech and said she would take care of me.. once again I asked if she's able to do ombre? She said yes.. I should have known she didn't know what she was doing when adding the fingernail polish on with a cut up sponge. I told her I did not like it, but she proceeded the keep doing it. I asked for diamond design too, she put glitter on my nails instead.. I told her I wanted ombre nails, Then she said " I said I could make SIMILAR not the same" That's not what she said at the beginning, they just wanted my money. I told her to take the color off (she did a poor polish job) I said I didn't like it. Prior to the service I was told that it would be $40 for my request nail design.. when I ask to take the nail polish off and was unhappy with results, I was still being charged $40.. I told owner Nancy that she did not give me want I wanted and I shouldn't be charged $40. I ended up paying $35 smh. I just wanted to get out of there. Once the owner seen the finished result of my nails, she should have made a professional decision to not charge me. If I could give a negative Stars I would.. my nails pics will be the clear nails with one design that has crud around the border of the nails. It doesn't even look like I got a new full set my nail were...

So when i came to this nail salon for the first time my nails were so damaged and out of shape. I had been going to this one nail bar whose name i will not mention, but my nails were brittle and never grew to my finger tip. When I went for the first time Nancy, the salon owner was very honest with me and promised she would work with me to get my nails in shape and healthier looking. Nancy was very kind and very attentive she made sure i got exactly what i was asking for. I have been going to her nail salon for almost 9 months and i can assure you my nails have never been healthier in my life. I am 25 years old and have never seen my nails grow past my finger tips. With Nancy's help i grew i not only grew long nails but they were the healthiest they'd every been. I love coming to this salon not only because its full service but because they REALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS, unlike some other "nail salons" if you can call them that in san diego. I have been with my nail technician Nancy for over 10 years. When I learned she got her own shop, I was excited for her. I was also excited that salon was really close to my house. From the first time I stepped into the Fresh Look Salon, it was clean and in the process of being remodeled. The environment was great overall. All the employee were friendly and welcoming. Nancy made me feel at home like she always does. As for my nails, Nancy always knows what I like and I don’t even have to tell her what I want. I trust her and her decisions completely when it comes to trying out new nail techniques and etc. She does a fantastic job always and I love when I get compliments on my nails because my nails reflect Nancy’s hard work and dedication...
