Interstate All Battery Center — Attraction in La Mesa

I needed a quality 6v lantern battery--with emphasis on long lasting, not-so-much on amperage--for an automatic pet access door that is battery operated to open and sunrise and close at sunset. The last two batteries purchased from the home-improvement store blitzed-out in less than 6 weeks. (They're supposed to last at least 6 months.) The interstate battery store attendant was very helpful and explained what could have been the issue with the home-improvement store batteries (possibly sitting on the shelf for who-knows-how-long). At interstate, batteries is WHAT THEY DO, so none are waiting around for long. I purchased the lantern battery, at a very competitive price (less than the home improvement store), and with more assurance. (The attendant said if I had any problems to bring it back and they'd work with me to find a different product.) Interstate seems to stand behind their products, and I'll be buying my pet-door batteries--and other specialty batteries--from this place...

I drive a Ford F-250 7.3 diesel and it needs full power to starter. I replace my batteries with Interstate Batteries on January 2020. They did a great job on the install and I was very pleased. I was having problems starting my truck and took it in to have the batteries replaced in Upland California at a Interstate Factory Store. I had nothing but problems and had to talk with the manager in order for them to replace one of them. I asked him to replace both of them and they refused to do so. I had my truck in for some repairs and he told me the second battery was bad and returned it to Interstate in La Mesa and they change it out for me at no problem. They also did the install. They did a fantastic job and I highly recommend this locations because we all know not all Interstate Battery companies are equal. Fernando helped me on a Saturday. He was the only employee, and was handling traffic and phone calls both. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and nice to to deal with. He tested the battery and alternator. I had conflicting test results from other stores. He explained it was definitely the battery. He gave me tips to help prolong battery life. I followed his recommendations, and purchased the best battery size for my truck. The price was competitive or better than other stores. He checked out everything after I installed it.
