Honestly go at your own risk. I visited The playground twice in one month and both experiences were horrible. On Saturday, August 12. The gentleman at the front desk said adults needed grip socks so I bought grip socks. The kids needed grip socks as well and the regular socks with the grip ends were no longer allowed at the facility so I purchased child grip socks from The playground. Never did he state it HAS to say THE PLAYGROUND on the sock for any future visits. So fast forward to today, Tuesday August 22. I thought I was prepared because I brought grip socks from actual jump places however I grabbed the grip socks that said play city and not The Playground by mistake. The lady at the front desk today only asked if I had grip socks and I told her yes. I purchased two kid tickets for $45. Before I swiped my card she kindly warned me about the place closing in an hour which I knew going in. I was okay with that. As I purchased the two tickets and we went to take off our shoes she said I needed adult grip socks which I had forgotten so I purchased them for $5. That was on me because I forgot mine and planned on purchasing them anyway. Then she said the kids needed grip socks to. I showed her the socks and she said no, that the socks had to say THE PLAYGROUND on them. I told her it was the same material and had the same amount of grip and she said no. It has to say the playground. I then had to purchase two kid socks for $8. I feel like they make up the rules as they go. The worst part is there were other adults with regular socks on when the lady had me purchase grip socks for myself and said I couldn’t wear my regular socks. I’m never going back there again. And unfortunately I heard other guests had the same...
Read moreA business that was driven not by passion or commitment to its customers, but by sheer greed. The management and owner of this establishment cared very little for the satisfaction of their patrons as long as they could squeeze every last penny out of them.
It was not enough that the customers would spend a reasonable sum of money at this place. The management, driven by insatiable greed, had concocted a devious plan to extract even more from their unsuspecting clientele. As if the $25 entrance fee were a mere pittance, they implemented a cunning strategy to force the customers to purchase overpriced add on that were of little value. It was a clear display of avarice, with the sole intention of fattening their own coffers at the expense of the customers' wallets.
One infamous example of this practice was the exorbitantly priced grip socks that they insisted every customer must acquire along with their entrance fee. This sock, of course, held no intrinsic value that could justify its price. It was simply a tool of manipulation, designed to wring out more money from the pockets of those who sought to patronize the establishment.
However, the relentless greed did not end there. The management went to great lengths to curtail any possibility of cost-saving measures initiated by the customers. For instance, they forbade the entry of outside food items, such as a box of pizza, into their premises. the dictatorial rule was that it must be transferred onto their own overpriced snack box. This was a brazen attempt to compel the customers to spend unnecessarily, purely for the benefit of the business's...
Read moreThis is a great idea. Have your significant other play with your kids with cool toys and cool A/C while you shop. Wonderful. It is NOT a drop-off. There were a handful of areas blocked by equipment where the staff are blind to whatever the kids are doing. Maybe install more cameras. It is a pretty wide mix of ages, so do not expect your littles to be able to use all the play-sets.
Altogether a great idea, albeit, more chaotic than you might want it to be. With the staff completely incapable of intervening when necessary.
To the father and mother that tried to fight me on July 19th 2024. You need to teach your 5 year old boy how to interact with other children, and with adults. You need to teach him not to dig through people's belongings. You need to teach him not to try to steal my credit card. You need to teach him not to muscle into my 3 year old daughter and steal her claw game that we just paid for. YOU need to be aware of what YOUR child is doing at all times. That is YOUR responsibility. Your son's "autism" does not excuse his behavior. Your son's behavior absolutely warranted the intervention that was given. And your behavior after his reaction was incredibly inappropriate and dangerous in that place with dozens of young children around all of us. You are lucky that, unlike you, I care more about the health and happiness of my own family more than teaching both of you the lesson you badly need.
Congratulations, you taught your boy that being a criminal is okay because of his "disability". I hope you run into somebody crazier than I am, who...
