Wonderful, warm, welcoming and friendly staff! Not to mention, patient.
I first started eating at Greek Gyro because I wanted to find tasty healthier options for an individual that I work with who is on the autistic spectrum. Let's call him, M. The staff was incredibly patient and encouraging with M while him and I were rehearsing how he would be placing his order.
What made the service and experience so great is that the following week we came back and they remembered our order and asked how our food was. M gave his honest feedback stating that his small salad was a lot of salad for a small salad. Better more than less! We all shared a laugh and they kindly made the adjustments for him moving forward. This was nearly a year ago and we have been having lunch at Greek Gyros almost once a week ever since! Each time they are always so kind and ask M if he liked his salad. His reply is that his salad and meal was perfect!
Thank you so much for the amazing Gyro Fries just the way I love them and thank you for M's meal of Gyro Meat and custom small salad! ...
Read moreOmg. I used to go here years ago and the gyros is awesome, but there was less meat in the gyros plate than the sandwich. Gyros is still good, but the plate is half the size of meat they used to give. I was still hungry after eating the plate, and used to be able to save some for lunch the next day. I realize the ownership has changed, just a suggestion to the new owners, change everything back. Bring back gyros tacos, and why would you not have booregs anymore. Millennials need to go back to the way it was when this place was great. Instead of giving people great food at a great price, they give people good food at an overprice. I guess they want to give less food for more money so they can afford to pay the millennials for being lazy and wanting more money. Good luck staying in business for much longer. So many other places give you twice as much food for the same price. Maybe bring back your predecessors to show you guys how to run the place. They’re probably a relative. Grandma and grandpa need to show you again how to do this. Until you change, I won’t be...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at Greek Gyros 11 in Grossmont Center, and also my first time trying a vegan gyros sandwich—and it did not disappoint! I ordered the combo with fries, and both the sandwich and fries were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, the flavors were spot on, and the total (including tip) came to just $18.07—a great value for a full meal under $20.
On top of the food, the customer service was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even better. I will most likely—most definitely—be coming back to try their falafel next time!
If you’re looking for flavorful Mediterranean food with vegan options, this spot is definitely worth...
