I love Aldi as Iāve been coming here for years. Everything is healthy and hugely important to me non-Gmo.. for the most part. The prices are great, and the staff has always been extremely kind , helpful and professional. Unfortunately, lately itās so seems that the dynamic is changing. The ā longish hair, gentleman managerā ( my apologies for not knowing name) has such a sweet demeanor , he appears to be very good with all the customers and extremely attentive to their needs. There is only one cashier and two self checkouts which personally I am not fond of especially if you have a large number of items. There should most definitely be more than one cashier and two self checkouts. The one cashier a dark skin, gentleman, horrible with customers very rude even more so unprofessional on every level.
I prefer live humans ringing up my items. However, the first time I went to this gentleman with a great deal of items, he was scanning everything so ridiculously fast, not paying attention to what he was doing. His girlfriend came in and he began having a conversation with her , ignorant to his job responsibilities and customers..as he continues ringing up my items⦠again..paying zero attention to what he was doing. I asked him if he could kindly slow down so things are not rang up multiple times. Needless to say.. not receptive. I get in my car proceed to look at my receipt which is hardly legible and yesā¦multiple mistakes. However No time to go back in as I had to pick up my children. Well, since he is the only cashier in the store again today⦠I of course, went to the self check out with 1 million items and spent over $300. I am hoping Aldi hires more lovely people like your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is one of the better Aldis with larger isles and a good selection. What lacks here is customer service. I find some of the cashiers rude. They should follow the 1 line rule all the time if this is the way they want to do things. I have no problem with that. It gets confusing to people when every time it can be different. Today for example there are 2 cashiers open both 3-4 isles apart. One has their light on, one does not. The one with light on has 3 people waiting. The one with no light has 1 person checking out. No one else is in the front of the store waiting to check out. I asked the male cashier with his light off if he is open. He rudely tells me 1 line and tells me to go follow another customer who us clearly on the other line, not waiting on their 1 line. I push my fill cart towards the other line. Immediately he calls ā next customerā and I am not pushing the full cart back. I was clearly there less than a minute ago. He continued to call me back now so I now push my full cart back. I tell him nicely it us very confusing to customers when they change things up every few days. His...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never leave negative reviews but there was this one older cashier with brown hair and glasses who was extremely rude to me. The woman in front of me in line left her empty cart and I was confused because I had my own and I didn't want to leave it and I had no idea how it got there. I asked what to do with it and she sarcastically remarked "UM WELL I COULD REMOVE IT FOR YOU OR YOU CAN TAKE IT!". Never been treated that poorly by a cashier, and I used to be one and was trained better. Not coming here again, at least Lidl...
