China King — Restaurant in Lacey Township

So here it is it's Monday I asked my son what are we doing for dinner and he's like tired of salads tired of pizza how about Chinese so where we go to this place on Route 9 in Bayville Hong Kong but they're closed now on Mondays I totally forgot I had to go there and walked up and door was closed I think they do they're prepping now on Monday for the week so I drive down Route 9 going to a couple of different shopping centers so I go back Route 9 continued South and just before I got to White Castle on the left on the Northbound side I see the word King up on the side so I do a u-turn back never been there ordered the food and took it back home and their food was very good the service was good I sat there 15 minutes and they had three meals ready in that time and the...

I don't expect Chinese take out to be fantastic but when I pay twice the price and order off the chiefs special menu, I do expect some quality. I ordered spicy seafood combo. It wasn't spicy AT ALL. The sauce had no flavor AT ALL. The crab meat was date fake tofu meat ( unknown material but wasn't even imitation crab meat ) 3 of the jumbo shrimp felt like I was trying to eat shrimp jerky. Scallops were ok, all 5 tiny scallops. So I basically spent $13 dollars for 3 shrimp and 5 baby scallops with a cup full of flavorless sauce and veggies. Best Chinese take out. Has all the flavor of north Jersey Chinese take out. We’ve been looking for a take out spot in Lacey and all the take out food is flavorless. Just pure garbage.
