Sweet Treats & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lacey Township

I wouldn't leave a single star for this business. This company's driver called me at 6pm and left a voicemail saying there were outside my home with a delivery. I called back within 15 minutes to let them know I was on my way home. No answer. I then got home and called the phone number left on the 1-800 Flowers card left on my door knob that was to Sweet Treats & Ice Cream. No answer. Left messages and called half a dozen times. Then finally a woman returns my call almost 24 hours later, and proceeds to tell me the order was "cancelled". I asked if she could please tell me who the order was from so that I could reach out to them and apologize. Or at least say thank you even though I never received this gift. The woman was INCREDIBLY NASTY and then hung up on me! I couldn't believe it. I called back to ask her name so that I could speak with whomever the owner was, and let them know what transpired over the phone- and she then refuses to give me her name. I asked to speak with the owner. She refused to put "the owner" on the phone. Then I told her I would come in to speak with the owner because I could not believe how she was speaking to me- and she then proceeds to tell me she's going to call the police because I'm threatening her! I was in no way threatening anyone's safety by requesting to speak with the owner in person. I now see there's a prior review of this same situation. My assumption is: this WAS THE OWNER I WAS SPEAKING TO! What a nightmare of a person. The family member who sent me this gift NEVER cancelled, nor did I. It seems like some sort of scam they're running using...

Truly a stand out ice cream shop and bakery! Homemade hard ice cream with innovative and unique flavors you wouldn’t find anywhere else, are always on rotation, along with the classic flavors we all crave. Their homemade coffee syrup atop soft serve ice cream is absolute perfection. Another item you will only find at Sweet Treats, are huge ice cream tacos!! The ice cream parfaits are also big and delicious, especially Take 5, Fruity Pebbles & S’mores. Bakery cases are always filled with goodies and chocolate covered strawberries, incase ice cream isn’t what your sweet tooth calls for (personally, I get excited to see what the current brownie flavors are & can never leave without one!). The shop is immaculate, there’s tables/umbrellas with music playing to sit and enjoy all your treats, the staff is friendly & attentive regardless if I stop in or call to place a custom order such as a fruit bouquet and most importantly, the owner makes it a point to get to know her...

Best homemade ice cream! Variety, of course, but the unique seasonal flavors are always my favorite. Pecan cinnamon roll and goat cheese & cherry (just try it!) have been my favorite. Milkshakes are hand-spun old school style. The banana split weighs about 3lbs; fruit is always fresh. And it's not just ice cream, there's cookies, cakes, and other sweet treats (hence the name).
