((Thanks to Nick for calling me and addressing my concerns)) we need more stores with such great leaders.
My overall all experience is good. It could be better if the receptionists attitude were better.
The two coaches i worked with are amazing and super energetic! I like how they push the trainees to do their best of the best! The studio is super clean, the equipment is very clean and new. And everyone there is friendly.
However, after my first free class, the receptionist kept pressing me to register, which was completely uncomfortable. I had to tell her more than 5 times that I need to think about, I have other things to consider before make this commitment. However, she kept pressing more and more. When i politely told her: “thanks, but i still need to think about it” she was unpleasant! I don’t know what kind of advertising this.
Also, another receptionist her attitude was really, and I mean it, really unprofessional. I know that sometimes we don’t feel like to work, but we have to, at least, to be polite with customers. Frankly, i am not sure if her attitude was because of my name and race? Not sure.. but she was polite with others!
Additionally, I read in the website that heart rate monitor is included in the price, however, it turned out that I have to pay $5 every class to use the monitor or to purchase my own from them for +100 dollar. This is not what i read, and i wish if they can clarify this in their website.
Last point, when I tried to cancel a class this morning the notification says “ you COULD be charged for canceling the class” The word could means that you may also not be charged. However I was charged for $12 even though there was no waiting list for this class. You have to change the wording of your terms and condition, and draft it well to not confuse...
Read moreJust did my first ever class with OTF Ladue this week & OMG there's no denying as to how amazing this place is. It's an eclectic environment filled with very dedicated people. Honestly, I was petrified coming into the studio & literally sat in the parking lot for a good 10mins contemplating if this was the right fit for me. For someone who hasn't really been working out & hitting the gym diligently for years, I was surprised that I actually survived my first class with a big smile on my face ! Plus I loved how organised & clean the studio was especially in a time like this & that speaks volumes. Special shout out to Nick who helped me through the process of getting familiarise with the studio & how OTF works & to Coach Bailey for guiding me through my first session.
Personally, for someone who is results driven, I absolutely love how they use the heart rate monitor to backup the results & truly make you feel, see & understand it all.
Whether you're an athlete or a rookie like me, OTF is truly a game changer & I'll recommend...
Read moreGreat workout with incredible motivation factors. Everyone should try a guest pass. I am updating my review as I need to explain why I chose and am addicted to Orange. Rowing works 85% of the body's muscles and OTF has water rowers which are smooth as silk. I wanted weight training to help with bone density and 1/3 of each class is devoted to that. The cardio is just a bonus and the heart rate monitor is a huge factor. Most importantly, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the staff go the extra mile to modify some of the workouts and help me excel on my bad days. My fellow addicts are also the nicest people in the world and never hesitate to offer assistance such as adjusting a bike. If you are just out of shape or struggle with an infirmity do not hesitate to give OTF a try. I have a fairly complete home gym, but am happy to pay for OTF as it has increased my motivation including at home. I can use the app to get more splat points at home and...
