The worst experience I have ever had with a department store.
For a place that is considered a "luxury" store I have to say I had my first and absolutely my last experience I will ever have with this store. I came in on 4/19/17 and was told to come back the next day when they had a sale running which was if purchase $250 and get a $35 gift card back and for the two sets of ray ban sun glasses I was getting for my sisters birthday it made sense to wait. I live about 30 miles from Sax so I tried to place the order online and there was an error when I would put in the code for the gift card. I ended up calling and speaking with an employee and ordering them over the phone because she confirmed there was a error but she would be able to get me the $35 gc it would just come separately which I was okay with. I was told the items would be at my house by April 25th which is perfect because these gifts for my sister were for April 26th.
Well I never got my package. I am currently on the phone and have been with the customer service number for now 59 mins and 36 secs. I was told: A.) My order was never processed and that I would have to replace it. B.) I was also told my gift cards were never charged C.) I will not be getting the gift card for $35
I asked to then speak to a manager and was questioned why lol. I explained that these were a gift and how I don't understand how I have a order number as well as my email confirmation showing my gift cards I used for this purchased have been used and balance of 0 but they are telling me the order was "Stuck" in the computer and never processed. I also want to talk to a manager about not getting my $35 gift card that I am entitled to. I waited on hold for 25 minutes and then they was told they dont have a manager but they can call me by the end of the day I said absolutely not I will hold. I then get a women who I have to explain it all over again to. Tells me that my gift cards I used to purchase the sunglasses were never charged so I then read them back to her to re process the order and then she tells me they are used and have a $0 balance!!!!! I then have to be put on hold AGAIN for them to figure out where my $300 dollars I was charged went.
I will NEVER ever ever give this store/company my business ever again. I am so disappointed I am sitting here now at 1 hour and 14 minutes and they STILL can not figure out what to do with my order or how to resolve this issue. For the amount of money this company charges for items, they should invest in their customer service since the CUSTOMERS bring them business. My job gives us gift cards and I chose them to Saks but I will never ever make that...
Read moreWho doesn't love Saks? Still a great place to shop for the luxury brands, and it is nice that the brick and mortar luxury stores still exist and survive in the slightly post Covid world. Our purchases were in cosmetics, specifically I was wanting a few things from Chanel. The associate was giving a make over, but made ZERO acknowledgement of us, and couldn't be bothered to even direct us to another counter for assistance. I was about to give up, when a very pleasant associate asked us if we needed help. She wasn't pushy or brash, and nicely went to the Chanel counter to get what I needed. So pleasant was she, that we ended up purchasing more from her because she cared enough to acknowledge us. You would think in these difficult retail times, where stores like these are struggling, that even if an associate is busy, they are cognizant enough to realize that simple politeness is necessary in order to keep these establishments open. Kudos to the associate who helped us, and to the Chanel associate, I hope you sold enough cosmetics from your makeover to justify your rudeness. She was even resentful when my mother grabbed a tissue from the Chanel counter to wipe off lipstick colors she had tried on her wrist. Employees like her, are the very reason people like me are ordering online more and more. Just because you are working for Saks and Chanel, doesn't mean you get to be rude. Dirty looks, rolling of eyes and snubbing of others isn't a way to...

I bought shoes for my wife at the woman shoes department and they sent it to my address unfortunately it was a wrong pair of shoes. I went back to the store to let them know they sent me the wrong pair of shoes and to have them amend the order.
I let the store know that I was leaving the country and there is a sense of urgency to change the pair of shoes but after a week there was no contact and to my avail I had to follow up myself.
On the first follow up, he said that he forgot to follow up and will address immediately. after one week I heard nothing from them so I followed up the second time. this time he says so it was actually no size available for the shoe that I purchased which they should have known in the first place.
I asked for a refund and it said to process it. Another week I get no response so I follow that the third time. And the third time I get a cold shoulder and I get an attitude and gave me very little instructions on how I can refund and they told me to find the accounting department myself. they made it extremely difficult and with attitude and today i have yet to get my refund after three weeks.
Saks is an awful experience. DO NOT WASTE...
