I’ve been a self-proclaimed Starbucks fiend for nearly a decade and began visiting this location daily 14 months ago, when I started a new job at the library nearby.
This location offers some of the best service I’ve ever received at any Starbucks. My drink is always made correctly (tall brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with four shots), and their breakfast sandwich selection is consistently well-stocked—even at noon.
To top it off, this location has some of the sweetest, funniest, and hardest-working baristas I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. I would be remiss, however, if I didn’t call out one barista in particular who always makes my lunchtime Starbies run a real treat.
Jon is always a delight to encounter, and I’m amazed by his ability to recall details from our conversations—even if it’s been weeks since I last saw him. When I told Jon about an upcoming library event that wasn’t getting much interest, he invited his coworkers, who showed up to support me (and had a great time—hi, Dorissa!). Every time Jon says hello, I feel his genuine warmth and sincerity. His commitment to customer service is so impressive, I’d poach him for my own team if it weren’t clear that he’s a beloved fixture in the Frontenac community. My fellow caffeine-addicted coworkers love Jon too, and I’m sure there are many more fans out there.
All of the baristas at Frontenac Starbucks have been consistently kind and professional, and I truly hope they’re recognized for always making my daily treat such a wonderful experience.
My only complaint is that I am occasionally startled by the very sweet but absolutely colossal Irish Wolfhound that hangs out on the patio from time to time, but that is more of a me problem. Moose...
Read moreCOMMUNIST STORE. Do not spend money here!!!! I went there for a long time and today the baristas invited the Communists of America to stand in front and harass people. I asked them to leave me alone and they said the baristas wanted them there and they had every right to yell at me. I asked the employees and they agreed. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Additionally, Starbucks claims they do not support political activity or allow their stores to be used for politics. Starbucks Frontenac is a COMMUNIST store and the employees all participate in COMMUNIST activism AT THE STORE.
Edit: Starbucks answer is evasion, at best. I contacted corporate and the first person literally hung up on me once they knew what I was notifying them of happening. Then the second contact they gave me some typical polite BS and said they would get back to me. They never did. Starbucks fully supports COMMUNISM in the US.
Edit2: I tried to contact Starbucks corporate. They completely shut me down. No return contacts, not even a form letter e-mail. IMHO Starbucks has become a communist foothold. Do not spend money there as they do not work in a...
Read moreI just witnessed the most upsetting behavior I have ever seen. As I was studying for my finals, I watched grown adults leave trash from another restaurant (FROYO) all over the store after they came in with at least 40+ children only an hour before closing and did not leave until 15 min before they closed. The children were obnoxious and obviously incredibly rotten. It makes me wonder if the parents were embarrassed at all by the way their children screamed at the top of their lungs at each other and at the hard working employees, Kathleen, Nancy, and Julie, who were using every bit of energy to make everything perfect for the drunk mothers and their awful children. Speaking of employees, this is the best Starbucks I have ever been too. My drink is always perfect and the employees are dedicated and hardworking. Sadly most of the customer base is extremely rude and disrespectful. It is too bad that the incredible employees are rewarded by rude disrespectful speech and behaviors. If you want a real good cup of joe, some fancy espresso, or some delicious tea, come to this Starbucks. You won't find this kind of service...
