Years ago I could have been considered a competitive bowler. I had been fortunate to bowl in many different bowling centres in the U.S. and other countries. Mike Aulby's throughout the years has been consistently one of the most well-maintained and enjoyable establishments in which to bowl for several reasons, e.g., pleasant and fun environment, friendly and patient staff, and excellent pro shop on premises. For decades, Mike Aulby's has arguably been the premier spot to bowl in the Tippecanoe, White, Carrol, Clinton Counties, and beyond.
I also cannot speak highly enough about the Pro Shop and Tom Taylor. He makes the pro shop there arguably one of the best places in the U.S. to purchase bowling equipment, especially if you want someone to measure your hand correctly and drill a ball accordingly the first time. He ensures that a ball will not destroy your hand and will actually help you bowl with a consistently elevated level of performance. I do not merely speak from limited experience, again. Over the years I when I actively bowled, I went to highly lauded-pro shops in competitive bowling regions who supposedly understood precision drilling. They were all extremely underwhelming due to the extremely high standard and quality workmanship of Mr. Taylor set. Had I been able to continually return to this area when previously away to have him setup and maintain my equipment, I most likely would have bowled competitively a lot longer than I had.
For fun that allows you to physically engage yourself without exertion and interact in a jocular manner with others, I highly recommend when possible to venture to Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl for a night fun with friends and family where all can put down their smart devices for an...
Read moreIt may look nice and fun, but donât let that fool you. All of the employees from the managers and down are rude, and deceitful. We have never been to this bowling alley before, so when we walked in, we thought we hit the jackpot. Paid over $70 to bowl for the family pack for 2 hours, plus 2 extra kids since the family pack is for 6 people and we had 8. After paying and getting our shoes, we went to get drinks at the snack bar. Employee was a young, rude girl who was using DIRTY rags to wipe off the extra pop seeping through all holes and down the sides of the drinks. Her manager was standing right next to her the entire time and didnât say one word! Then after only 1 hour of bowl time, our alley shut down, so we went to customer service and asked why, thinking something was wrong bc we paid for 2hrs. Austin Dandiford was the manager talking with us, and told us that the guy that checked us in (his employee) and took our payment admitted to making a mistake by charging us 1hr instead of the 2. (I still donât understand how you go from $35 for 1 hour for 6ppl to over $70 for an hour with 8) His employee made a mistake, but he refused to make it right. So we drove an hour, bowled for 1 hour for over $70!!! First impressions are everything, and being a business owner myself, if one of my employees made a mistake, I would make it right for my customers. So needless to say we will not ever be back to this bowling alley ever again, and will spread the word to all of our family and friends, and customers.. I would have given a quarter star if I could. Attached is THEIR PRICES off of...

No refunds and no prizes. Played a karen to some girl who was rude and huffy. i said were not from here never been here whats going on we have $20 left and no prizes either. I asked for a refund was told no. i said i wanna talk to the guy that sold us these cards then because i want my money back. she stormed off was gone for 10 min and then came back turned the games back on and said go play until you spend your money eye rolls and all. so we rushed around wasting money having no fun times and feeling like a burdon.
