I make it a point to go somewhere else next time went up there twice this week to try to sell some older used tablets the woman behind the counter was very short and snappy with her answers an attitude she seemed to have more interest in her conversation with her friend she was talkin to and treated me like I was an inconvenience second time I went in there this week after making sure the tablets were fully charged and hopefully get a little cash this stuff that wasn't being used that I had laying around. I was once again greeted and treated like I was an inconvenience to her and her friends conversation. When I asked her any questions about any of the items I brought in hoping she gained a little more or at least pointed into the right direction of finding out. The only thing the woman could tell me they only took devices that had new gen charger port. When I asked her what did she mean she pointed at the charger port because I am hard of hearing I asked her oh is that what she meant by new gen the c-type and Android charging ports to confirm what I was Hearing was correct. Read moreI visited this Game Stop in December 2023 to buy a replacement controller for my Xbox 1, with a purchased one year warranty. I had to return to Game Stop on this date because the controller stopped working properly. We entered the store and took the controller to the store employee. I told him that the controller had stopped working properly. I wanted to get a new one under warranty. The store employee looked at two controllers and used them by testing them with a system. The employee made sure I had the best one. I asked the employee if that was the procedure to check the controller? He stated that it's supposed to be checked when it's refurbished. Also, he checks them, too, to be sure they work properly. I said I could appreciate that. When he was done with the diagnostic test, he asked if we wanted a 1 year or 2 year warranty on the new controller? I asked the store employee that since I had bought the 1 year warranty, previously, didn't the warranty get applied to the new controller? He said no, each controller you had to buy a new warranty. We received a call Friday saying it was at the store and we had 48 hours to pick up I called back the next day and let the employee I spoke to know that we were out of town dealing with the lose of a family member. He guaranteed that it was okay that we came and picked up on Sunday he even assured me that he would put a note on our order and that it just sat in the pick up drawer and it wouldn’t be an issue. Sunday we go to pick up and are told they no longer have our order. When the manger was called over she let me know since I didn’t pick it up in 48 hours i could no longer get it that she wasnt the one spoke to so it pretty much didn’t matter I was told it would be saved. She proceeded to tell me I could pre order the new pack coming out but honestly I didn’t think I’ll ever preorder again from game stop as they clearly aren’t accommodating or have any communication in the store.
