First off, I would like to say that I love art. I am an artist myself and studied art and art history in college. I went to walk in recently to admire some local artists' work as well as the jewelry (I am getting married soon and would love to support local artists), but was met with an extremely hostile staff. They said hello to other customers, but not myself. As I walked around the store, I noticed they were glaring at me. I smiled, but that was not reciprocated. I would say they were probably having a bad day or felt it was better to not say hello or goodbye to me, but they were very kind and cheerful to other customers. It could have perhaps been because I'm younger and a person of color, or it could have been because I was carrying my backpack with me (I tutor people at the town center) and they thought it was suspicious. Regardless, it is really a shame that the staff is so unfriendly. Made for a pretty upsetting experience and I will not recommend to others. I already told my aunt who was actually planning on buying one of the raven paintings, and she has decided to look elsewhere.
