It’s more than just an ice cream shop—it’s a joyful little lab of flavor, blending creativity and culture in the most delicious ways.

What makes it stand out is the way they infuse South Asian ingredients into their creations. You’ll find bold, surprising, and delightful combinations—like pistachio elevated with cardamom, or a beautifully fragrant honey saffron that’s both subtle and rich. Each flavor is deep, layered, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find ice cream this sophisticated and fun at the same time.

The space itself is beautifully curated—bright, welcoming, and full of thoughtful details. You can tell the café is run by designers (an industrial designer and an interior designer), and the attention to every aspect—from color palette to seating to the flow of the space—makes the experience feel complete.

Brand new and delicious ice cream spot! The inside lives up to the name of the store, step inside and feel like you have been transported into the summer season. The walls have a bright and fun yellow tiling but it isn’t too bright where you feel overwhelmed.

The staff are thoughtful and patient with you as you ask questions and sample different flavors. I was offered honeycomb, which I’ve never had before! If you’re looking for something new and unique the honeycomb is a must try.

They have many flavors available and I hear they are incorporating seasonal flavors soon so I’m excited to come back again and see what’s available.

The shop is located right by the Burke-Gilman trail so as the weather brightens it’ll be a perfect spot for some ice cream and a walk in the warm sun 😁

We have been awaiting the opening of Always Summer Cafe. We love ice cream and have often planned trips to different parts of Seattle just to try great ice cream. Always Summer did not disappoint! We tried Vanilla Malt, Honeycomb, Cotton Candy, and Chocolate Rose. Each was delicious in a different way, our favorite was probably honeycomb. Great taste, creamy, and not too sweet.

They had different options, including season flavors for food allergies or intolerances. We look forward to coming back and trying the espresso from Olympia Coffee Roasters and fresh ice cream sandwiches.

Our favorite part, beyond the ice cream, was the space itself. Beautifully designed with fun spaces for the kids. They had a few board games and plenty of room to sit. Parking was easy even though the town center was busy.

Finally, the staff was really great. We went on opening day and the staff was friendly, familiar with everything they offered and efficient helping multiple customers.

A must visit for those around Lake...
