This place is fine if you know specifically where you're going I have a dog and it is not a dog friendly environment so it's really not a good place to go to the farmers market it's not a good place to do your errands there's no grass my dog does not feel comfortable walking around this place and for some reason people are not dog-friendly here. When I first moved here 25 years ago and throughout the years it has been nice it's not as accessible as one would want meaning of the accessibility to the stores there just another weird place in Washington State it's not my favorite place to go I will go there if I have to go to Mud Bay etc. I went there the other day my dog was shaking he didn't want to go out there's no grass it's just a hard place to shop I just think it's weird and quirky an old and outdated things are so different now with pandemic and covid-19. And please let me mention I do have 25 years of going to Third Place Books it's a beautiful book store it's just the place is old outdated crowded it's not dog friendly it's not pet friendly it's just a weird quirky place it was nice a long time ago . And because I am not a Lake Forest Park resident maybe that's why it's fine and it's sweet and it's fine for the neighborhood people it's just changed so much as...
Read moreMy first time here today and I found it to be a really quaint town center with a lot happening.
There are a ton of good stores here that you can browse, but it still gives you a Homie and cozy feeling. You can come here and support some local shops like the knitting shop or the chocolate shop. I love that the library is also attached to here.
I think what I loved about this is the fact that there is a lot of open seating upstairs by the food court or rather it is the food court. But it is so much more than a food court because people were there setting up crafting tables and boarding tables and knitting tables. It looks like people just come with groups and take over a large tables to do whatever it is that they want to do. I love the atmosphere and the fun vibe that is happening , and you can even get some really delicious food while you hang out with your friends.
I can definitely see myself coming here to hang out with some friends because it's so open and friendly and the vibe is...
Read moreI love this little square of shops. It's busy at times but everyone is always kind. Ross and the bookstore are great about making sure ppl are being safe and distanced. ACE has all you need as far as home hardware, Plants. Paint, salt in the winter, and yummy gummy 🐻s. The banks are convenient. Starbucks. I personally enjoy all the staff there. Same to say about Albertsons. The bear bakery. The bread is top notch, they also have the cutest little play area inside. However tht part may not be open bc of covid. The library there is quiet. And then it has the Everest mountain I believe restaurant look for his part bar-and-grill which is such a nice dinner or lunch there food is always good. When I 1st moved here I was positive that everything down there was going to be no use for me other than the grocery store. 9 yrs later, I go to the bird store. 🐦 we go there for most stuff. I hope tht it...
