Santiago de Compostela Church — Attraction in Lake Forest

Great Parish!!! Keep growing, have excellent facilities and keep growing the parish family. The priests are great!!! They are bringing Jesus to people by greeting, handshaking and talking to them before and after the Holy Mass. They make the Holy Mass alive but holy and exciting. This evening, before the vigil Mass, FatherThomas annouced that we greet and accknowledge each other and the church became lively as ever. That was a new and exciting experience. The priest, who officiated my brother Greg and Kathleen's wedding on Saturday, was EXCEPTIONAL. I've been a faithful Catholic for my entire life and I've never felt so fulfilled as I did upon leaving the church after the service. Unfortunately this church has gone the way of a business rather than a place of worship. My family was charged $30 to have my mom’s name (RIP) mentioned during service, her name was never mentioned. I would honestly let this slide but the fact that we paid for a name to be mentioned, which is ridiculous enough for a church to charge for, forced me to write this review.
