Many places have main items they are known for and then occasionally throw in side items to fill a menu. I don't know what their featured item is but, I have passed by and seen people order entrees and they looked good. I decided to order a antipasto salad. It was ok, I mean it was fresh and tasted good but when I think of an antipasto, I think of a giant salad that's going to fill me up especially when it's almost 10 bucks for it. What I got was more like a a side salad. It was tasty but not nearly filling enough. The toppings were minimal. Maybe two half pieces of lunch meat and one half piece of cheese and a handful of chopped tomatoes but that was it. Some cauliflower. Just not how I picture an antipasto. I know this place is better though so I may try another item thinking that this is not their featured item. Hopefully it'll be better.

We had a Door Dash order just delivered. Fettuccine, garlic cheese bread and gluten free pizza (btw, we didn't order gluten free pizza!) If a picture is worth a thousand words... here's 2,000 and I'll let those pictures of the pizza speak for themselves. Burned... paper thin... Who sends food out the door that looks like this? I called and spoke with the Mgr, she informed me that, unfortunately, the gluten free pizza has a tenancy to burn. (I wonder what a non gluten free pizza looks/tastes like?) This order was made by my SIL who is living with us and bed ridden as we Hospice her through stage 4 cancer(lung & brain) She wouldn't have been able to post/respond to the condition of her

Got into our hotel from a very long trip. Starved. According to Uber Eats this place looked good. I’ll start with the bad first. The garlic bread is neither garlic or bread. The bread is, in a word, horrible. You could drop it in a third world starving country and they would build bridges out it, fill holes in walls, etc — in other words anything but eat it. There was maybe a garlic glove waved at it. We requested utensils. There were none. Luckily the hotel had some. Now the good. The manicotti was absolutely delicious. The focaccia bread that came with it was pretty good too. The dinner salad was a very decent size and fresh. The zucchini sticks were also quite tasty.

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and a Cesar salad. The order was 30 minutes late, cold, the bread was burnt, and the pizza had no cheese and 8 pepperonis. Contacted the store location to notify them and received nothing but hostility and lack of professionalism. I explained that the burnt bread and poorly made pizza was in no way the delivery service’s fault. I was told it was likely eaten by the delivery person. The pizza came with a seal and the pizza looked untouched so I highly doubt it was the delivery service. I in no way personally attacked just stated my grievance, however, Nick Andrisano (the president of Ameci) felt the need to take a personal jab. Why? Unprofessional.

From Nick Andrisano: Have you ever seen some of the drivers that these services use. Why don't you call the restaurants directly and save the extra fees. You seem to be an educated man but when it comes to common sense I think you are lacking. Good Luck

NICK ANDRISANO PRESIDENT AMECI PIZZA & PASTA, INC.

From me:

That is a pretty lame excuse to try to blame it on the delivery service. If you can’t trust a delivery service you shouldn’t use it. That is no excuse. In addition it would be pretty clear if a pepperoni or cheese was torn off. One more note, since the box was taped as not tampered with how do you justify blaming the delivery service? Be professional and take responsibility. Grow up. With responses and service like this patronage is a thing of the past. I already spoke to the location and they deflected just like you. So your lack of professionalism stems from the top which explains why they were so unprofessional as well.

From Nick: Please call the location and ask for Sayeed. Believe it or not sometimes the delivery service drivers eat the toppings and the location gets blamed. If you speak to Sayeed he will make it right. Thank you for you patronage.

We’ve honestly tried this place a number of times, especially since it is a small chain business, and we have had issues every…single…time. A few examples:

-Ordered through DoorDash for pickup only to find they didn’t even realize they had the order and had to wait at the place for over half an hour even though the app said it was ready for pickup. Bad look when there is one guy in the back is frantically working to make pizza but the other staff are hanging out on their phones.

-Ordered on the website for delivery for the food to get delivered more than 90 minutes past the projected delivery time. Had to call multiple times to figure out what was going on with the person on the phone giving me random incorrect guesses on time and “accidentally” hanging up on me twice.

-Ordered through the website, said it’ll be done in 15 minutes for pickup. No confirmation email. When I called to confirm if they got it, I had to prod to figure out how long it’d take to pick up and was told to wait another 40 minutes. Took over an hr after it was all said and done. Again made us feel like a nuisance for even asking.

This is how a business steadily tarnishes their reputation and lose customers. Maybe they are busy because there is low density of local pizza places and can get away with these issues.

Well good thing that is changing. More pizza places are available in the area.

Suggest you...

I don't do this, but this was a terrible experience on so many counts.

We ordered a calzone and a 10 piece boneless chicken nuggets. Where do I start?

In the past, the calzones were fluffy with ricotta and crispy on the outside. The marinara sauce had good flavor. The calzones were large and a decent deal for the price.

This time the calzone was rubbery, had literally no ricotta, was chewey and flavorless. We asked for oregano in the calzone for more flavor... wasn't added. There was no sauce inside and they gave us basically a shot glass of marinara on the side. So disappointing.

Now, the boneless wings... what a joke! We ordered 10. We got 8. They were tiny! And only 6 had chicken! 2 were just breading.

We spent $32.00 for a single veggie calzone and 10 (8), well 6 - boneless nuggets.

Ameci's... we are done. This is the last time I am going to have a crappy meal experience here. How do you stay in business? I see the response that was given to me at 4 AM after I left my review. It's the same generic response that was given to the last several negative reviews. Is this a paid service that you have done for you? Because this certainly wasn't a personal response to my review that was...
