Highly recommended to go and learn a little about Lake Jackson history. The exhibitions are separate per periods of time, which make it easy to appreciate the town development .
The museum has a circle form. I recommend to start in your right side where is the Karankawa exhibition, in that way you are going to see the museum in chronological order.
The next exhibition is about the Jackson’s family and then there is the stair( there is also an elevator) in the middle. Go to second floor and continue with the next era.
When you finish upstairs go down and finish the second half on first floor. Special exhibitions are usually in the middle of first floor.
The museum has a lot of interesting information. My favorite part was a plane that is hanging in the middle of the museum. It was the first plane doing with a special lighter material, that was developed by two Lake Jackson’s dentist.

Read moreLove this place. Anytime I am bored with my kids we stop in and check out what's new. Lots of cool local items to learn about. The theater is like a step back in time and always playing a documentary that I have a hard time prying myself away from. The robotic statues of local heroes are cutting edge. The flight simulators are awesome. They have a fun event going on most weekends. The staff is more than friendly and I recommend this place to anyone who lives in Brazoria county or...

Lake Jackson is very fortunate to have this resource in...
