I entered the place in search of a hamburger. I didn't feel like entering because I wasn't so flashy from the outside, not even looking out the glass. But once I entered I found something totally different from what I thought. First of all, Manager Jordan received me and answered all the questions I asked him before entering. Much applause for that great service. Second, the place is quite spacious and familiar. You can choose to sit outside, as it takes place to enjoy the tranquility of its surroundings, the sun if it is day and the stars if you go by night. And very importantly, they are pet lovers. If you prefer to be inside there are several comfortable sections for sitting, chatting with friends or family. It has a wide bar and the most impressive thing is that it has about 102 draft beers to choose from and along with the same 9 TV screens for you to enjoy your favorite sport. But on the recommendation of bartender Patricia, for the first time I tried the whiskey "Baby Blue, by Balcones" and I was impressed. The smell, its body and taste is not limited to any good description you can give it and the excellent service of the bartender, Jolyn, was perfect. The music ... I felt like I was in a native place, not because of the typical music, but because of the great atmosphere, I listen to everything, but today there was soft rock, although you don't like rock you will love the place. As for the food, I ordered a wings. Very delicious in itself. The only detail is that before ordering, they told me that 10 wings were in the order and they only gave me 8. I asked Jolyn again and he said yes, there are 10 wings. I see him dialogue with the Manager and then he tells me to wait a moment for the other wings. Between tango I drink in a glass of water with lemon and I hope ... back they brought me 3 wings 🤦‍♂️😁. But there were no apologies. Error or not, I advise that you always be aware of what you order. Otherwise, I recommend the place and I will ask for the wings to see if it was a mistake or custom. Apart from, I recommend the place. Very good. but always alert. I was going to give it 5 stars but not until I confirmed the...

DEFINITELY THE "WORST" HOUSE! THE FEMALE MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION (ON SUNDAY) HAS NO IDEA of the definition of customer service. ⛔️⛔️⛔️ If you don't feel like reading my long rant- JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY, AND TIME- GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT. DO NOT COME HERE.⛔️⛔️⛔️ I really do NOT like leaving a negative review. But unfortunately, this restaurant deserves ZERO stars. We arrived with our church group for lunch on Sunday [after church] There were 12 of us. My husband ordered the Mac & cheese with sausage DINNER SIZE $14.99. I ordered a Cobb salad with shrimp. My husband is a big man (ex football player) the Mac & cheese arrived in a small dessert size bowl with 3 pieces of sausage. IT LOOKED LIKE A CHILD SIZE PORTION ( supposed to be 1 sausage link) Definitely NOT DINNER PORTION. My husband quietly and politely explained it was not a full link of sausage and a very small size of Mac & cheese. He asked the server "is this a side dish"? She replied said "no, dinner size". He then requested another sausage link. The manager came over and explained that that is a normal portion. 🤯🤯 Kind of hard to believe, as we watched our friends get their dinner sized portions and they were HUGE. By the way; My salad was OK. shrimp was cold and under cooked and ranch was watered down. I didn't even want to complain at this point. Then, we get the check. THE MANAGER CHARGED MY HUSBAND AN EXTRA $4.99 FOR A SAUSAGE LINK. ON TOP OF THE CHILD SIZE PORTION OF MAC & CHEESE SAUSAGE FOR $14.99.....I do not mind paying $$$$$ for great food and exemplary services. In fact we are originally from Dallas. We are used to top notch boujee restaurants. And we DON'T MIND PAYING FOR IT! BUT this place is NOT UPSCALE. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF AT A DENNYS. PLEASE, Save your money- go elsewhere. This is the...

Heard good things about this restaurant, but Not so much with our visit. This was my first time here. We went on Saturday July 19, 2014. Sat outside to enjoy the Band, music was just way to loud. Ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch/Flatbread for appetizer was good. Sat down with no napkins or silver wear, even after appetizer was delivered. So had greasy hands for a while till we got them. Ordered the Mahi Mahi and Seafood Pasta. It says you can get grilled or fried, I wanted grilled, they told me they cant do that. Got my plate, it looked nothing like the picture in the menu, says its cream sauce on a bed of fettuccine pasta, it was poured or tossed all in the pasta in an extreme amount not just on the top, and it was super dark, and tasted like a whole container of Cajun seasoning dumped out onto my plate. I love spicy food don't get me wrong, but there is a difference between spicy and way way to much seasoning. Well I ate a few bites of the Mahi Mahi and couldn't enjoy it at all, manager said he would take 50% off the price of My meal because half the fish was gone. None of the noodles where ate, still full plate. I'm not someone to complain about food and send it back either, I have worked and managed restaurants, and bar and grills before. BF ordered the Schnitzel; A tender hand breaded pork cutlet pan fried served in Jager Mushroom Sauce, with the menu could have explained what that was, yes we could have asked but we weren't expecting a really bland thick white creamy substance, expected more of mushrooms sautéed in jager and an actual sauce. nothing was saucy. Drinks where slow, Out of a few beers we enjoy. Poor girl was working the whole outside alone, on a busy Saturday with a band. She didn't seem to have much help at all, and just running...

It had great potential for great food, but when it arrived it was really cold. They were super busy. It was my first time, maybe next time will be better! Update to 4 stars: came by today for lunch and had delicious food, great waiter, and a nice experience! The place was not busy at all when we came in. So we will have to come back one more time during a busy time to give the final review! Final review, final visit for me. Came in with family from out of town. Very very disappointed. We had 4 adults and a 4.5 year old child. Upon ordering drinks, we placed a food order for our child to be put in. We waited 20 minutes before the waiter came back to take our food order, on top of this, my childs order was not put in. We ordered $100.00 worth of food. Another 25 minutes went by before our food came. Starving child by this time. Guess what? Our food was cold on 3 of the 4 adult entrees. The $22.00 cordon blu was cold. The $15.00 beef roll was cold. The $14.00 gypsy chicken was cold. We asked to speak with a manager. It took over 15 minutes for her to drop by. During this time, we were told we could go to the host stand to talk with her (im in a foot cast, sorry thats not convenient). We were told we were going to get a discount on our food, and she could make us new plates (uh no thank you we had already been there an HOUR and sending plates back is not a thing i do). We get the check and get a whopping 10 bucks off. This was a huge slap in the face. So we paid our dues and will never go again. 2 out of 3 times we have been served cold food. This place is not a cheap place to eat. Now its also not a very good place to eat unless you want to pay for cold food. Super diappointed Wursthaus...

I gave this restaurant three stars. I would eat here again (and plan to do so). Here is what I like: The menu has a wide variety of German (and American) food as well as seafood items. The sausages I ordered were very tasty. The red cabbage was sweet and flavorful. The interior of the restaurant is modern, and the bar with many, MANY different beer taps is impressive. What caused me to give three stars was mainly the service. Our waiter seemed preoccupied with other things and managed to bring our appetizer AFTER our meal arrived (and got it wrong). He also kept disappearing to the front of the restaurant where I assumed the kitchen was. Upon leaving, I saw that there was in fact a side room up there with a table where he and other wait staff were lounging and looking at their phones. Perhaps this is what distracted him at getting our order wrong? The other complaint is mainly a disappointed expectation. I assumed (hoped) when I went to a German style restaurant that I could get strudel for dessert (was kind of craving it) and was disappointed to discover that the only dessert items were run of the meal items that typically come on restaurant supply trucks. Oh well. To summarize, the food was good and the atmosphere nice. And a review can’t be solely based on a bad service experience. Servers have good nights and bad nights too. If you crave German sausage give them a try –it was pretty good. If you crave strudel, then Google the recipe and make it at home. I don’t think you’ll find it at a restaurant in Lake Jackson unfortunately.
