I’ve tried several times to support Inkling’s Bookshop by buying local, but the experience has been frustrating. I called multiple times to confirm if a book was in stock, and the phone number listed goes straight to a voicemail box that is full—you can’t even leave a message.

As much as I want to support small businesses, it’s simple things like this that push people straight to Amazon, where you can order the book and have it delivered without hassle. I was hunting for specific books from a teachers Amazon wish list. I ordered a few since they weren’t in store.
