Little Lake — Attraction in Lakeland

I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I are excited to utilize a membership, and bring our daughter here for the events and work/play time with us. Whoever created this unique business venture is a genius. It’s a clean, organized play area that promotes calmness and excitement through the aesthetics and play areas offered. There are comfortable places for adults and infants, while still giving toddlers and young kids ample space to play. Offering well made toys for the children to play and learn with, then displaying those same toys in the shop for parents to purchase and take home is genius. Our daughter picked a toy in the play area, utilized it well and showed significant interest, and we were able to purchase it and bring it home. The staff member, Ellie, was professional and warm with her greeting and giving us a tour of the building and explaining the background of the owner and the company and answering any and all questions we had. Being a veteran we have lived in several cities and states and this is by far the most creative and beneficial “indoor play place” that we have ever encountered. Don’t hesitate to take your family.

Edit* It has now been about 4 months since our first visit. We have utilized the membership opportunity and definitely go about 2-3x a week. The staff have become wonderful friends and our daughter is becoming friends with other members children. We take advantage of the Tuesday music therapy classes and the family events. Carilly is truly one of the best services I've ever used. I've been using it for three years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Recently, I found myself in a bind with a one-week gap in childcare. In a rush, I went to book with Carilly and noticed an option for Little Lake Play. I'd heard of it before but didn't know how it worked.

It turns out it's incredibly simple: you book a babysitter through Carilly, select the Little Lake Play option, and drop your child off during the scheduled time—no need to call ahead or notify Little Lake. It's super convenient and provides some much-needed quiet time to work.

But there's something even better! They offer a 'Mom’s Morning Out,' which is drop-in care available on Monday, Thursday, or Friday from 9 am to 12:30 pm for just $38. It’s an unbeatable deal. My daughter absolutely loved it and kept asking all week when she could go back. She even told me her favorite teacher EVER was the young girl with curly hair and medium toned skin. Honestly, all of them were smiling and sweet. The kids there are of all ages and super sweet. My daughter loves going, and it’s truly a hidden gem. Thank you for offering a space like this. My daughter thoroughly enjoys the creative environment, and I have never experienced an environment and Owner, who is so open and understanding to ensuring not just the customers, but the children have a positive education educational experience. I’m convinced other people who reviewed poorly liked the full spectrum of information or ability to have a conversation.

I had a different experience and the owner intended and allowed my reactive behavior to not give them the opportunity to discuss it and I really regret it. They were wonderful at helping me find solutions to the problems that I found alongside extremely compassionate to my experience.
