My friends and I recently had the most incredible time at escapology, and it was all thanks to our amazing game master, Madi! We had booked the Budapest murder mystery room, and it was an experience we will never forget.
From the moment we stepped into the escape room, Madi's enthusiasm and passion for the game were evident. Her friendly smile and welcoming demeanor instantly put us at ease and set the stage for an exciting adventure. Madi's professionalism was exceptional, as she expertly guided us through the game while maintaining the mystery and suspense.
Madi's attention to detail was truly commendable. She took the time to explain the rules thoroughly and ensured we understood the storyline before diving into the challenge. Her knowledge of the murder mystery plot was impressive, and she flawlessly portrayed each character, adding depth and authenticity to the experience. We were fully immersed in the game, thanks to Madi's engaging storytelling skills.
What impressed us the most about Madi was her ability to strike the perfect balance between providing hints and allowing us to solve the puzzles ourselves. She had a keen eye for recognizing when we needed a gentle nudge in the right direction, without giving away too much. Madi's guidance kept us engaged and motivated throughout the entire game, making sure we felt accomplished whenever we successfully unraveled a clue.
Additionally, Madi's enthusiasm was infectious. She shared in our excitement and celebrated our victories with genuine enthusiasm. Her positive energy kept the momentum high and made the experience even more enjoyable. It was evident that she truly loved what she does and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a fantastic time.
To sum it up, Madi made our escape room experience at Budapest unforgettable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and infectious enthusiasm created an atmosphere that was both immersive and thrilling. We highly recommend requesting Madi as your game master when visiting Budapest Escape Room. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Read moreLove love love it! We went as a family group; everyone had a blast. We did the Antidote and made it out with only 4 minutes to spare. But honestly, even if we had failed, the experience was worth it.This is among the most fun we've had as a family with diverse interests. It was an immersive puzzle solving endeavor, in some ways reminiscent of a video game adventure, and (because of the Antidote theme chosen) let us be heroes while appealing to the nerdier members of the family with its science and history aspects. I loved being able to work collaboratively with the family (including a teenager who can be hard to get on board with group activities.) We then talked about it for most of the long drive home. Our game master was excellent and really contributed to making the game fun. In fact, all the staff we encountered were friendly and tremendously helpful. I was trying to figure out how to make this outing work with young children and they made the booking process as painless as possible. And there were lots of little extras that I liked. The facility itself (lobby, bathroom, etc) was quirky, clean, and inviting. It added to the overall atmosphere. After the game, they gave us water and then let us get set up with props for a group photo which was sent to my email at no additional cost. (I really appreciated that; so many places charge for souvenir photos) And we got silicone wristbands to show the...
Read moreMy partner and I went to do an escape room here recently. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. We chose 7 Deadly Sins as our room and it was SUPER exciting to play. By accident, during the reset of the room, one of the boxes was left open/unlocked before we began playing, and it unfortunately happened to be the box that held the final key to escape the room. Since it was found prematurely, there was a solid 1/3 to 1/2 of the room that we simply did not get to play. These kinds of experiences can be a bit expensive to do (it was a little over $80 for both me and my partner), so it was a little disappointing that we missed out on a good deal of it. I truly do believe it was an accident and I would never hold the employee responsible for it, but I do think there should be some sort of process put in place to compensate for when things like this happen. Like I said, though, the overall experience was good and I would love to return for a different room or even to retry the same room, but I feel a little nervous going after this. Again, it was absolutely an accident, it's just one of those accidents that you can't guarantee won't...
