I visited the salon yesterday (9/7). I have really mixed feelings about this place. First, I’d like to say that I love my pedicure from Amanda. She was amazing and the salon is beautiful!
Things started off poorly when I came in for a pedicure & gel-X appointment booked with Rose based on reviews from Google and after 30 minutes of waiting for her, I was told that she was busy with another client and they were going to have someone else start on my pedicure. No worries, the gel-X manicure was what I really wanted Rose for and needed to be perfect as I am in a wedding this week. Another 30 minutes go by and I’m told Rose is still not ready, and was asked if I wanted to continue to wait for her or have another technician do my nails. At this point an hour had gone by, and my friend that I was with was almost finished with her mani/pedi so I said “whatever is easiest.” They had another tech do my gel-x.
I’m disappointed in the overall quality of my gel-X. The tech was very nice but it all felt rushed and sloppy. I was cut way too many times to the point of drawing blood, which I’ve never had happen in all the times that I’ve gotten gel-x or manicures in general. I wish that I had really inspected the quality before I left the salon, but I was just trying to pay & leave once I was done because I had been there for 2 hours at this point. After I left, I the quality of the gel-X application became really apparent. Some nails are really chunky underneath (glue wasn’t drilled down), some nails are totally see through in some parts (like there weren’t enough coats of the base or something?), the white part of the French is chipping away on one finger, glue on my cuticles, etc. As I mentioned, these nails are for a wedding that I am a bridesmaid in and I’m pretty embarrassed to have these up close in photos. I do have to say, my friend’s gel-X turned out incredible so I guess I just had a different experience. For a $100+ manicure, the quality should be better than what is shown...

Walked in for a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. Was impressed by the large facility and clean space. I was seated in a row of at least 20 pedicure chairs and was initially excited when they said I’d have the gel manicure while getting my pedicure at the same time. I don’t love to spend hours at the nail salon. After being handed a QR code to review the various pedicure services, for $47 I was given a rushed pedicure, the. Had to pay extra for what I consider the sole purpose of a pedicure (the heel exfoliation). I asked for no massage, so my pedicure was faster by about 3 minutes than a regular pedicure, but the polish step was rushed and just looked OK as I walked out the door but decent enough for a few weeks of wear. as common in most places, any comments about the quality of the job leads to an unpleasant confrontation and I just didn’t want to deal with it.
The gel manicure was going fine. I mentioned that I like it thin, and super clean around the edges because my nails don’t hold get well. She assured me the polish would last. By the time I got home, the gel polish had already chipped.
I went into today after calling, explaining the situation and they told me to come in for repairs. My manicure wasn’t fixed well, I just got an added layer of polish , so I now have thick gel nails with air bubbles, and they refused to correct my pedicure. My hunt for a great, reasonably priced nail...
Read moreExcuse the photos I’m still in the chair writing this review. Let me say as soon as I walked in I was taken away with the entire atmosphere it is beautiful, expensive and you can tell whoever owns this place wants you to have an experience and has invested a lot into the place which I respect. They have someone walk you to where you’ll be services, hand you a drink menu and get to work right away. A lot happened in like 30 seconds. I had a warm neck thing placed on me as well as like 300 colors put in my hands a drink brought to me and a tray to set my hands on to get them done. They use good products and have a variety of price options depending on your budget which I like. The staff is trained on new techniques which I appreciate and offer the new “trendy things.” It was entertaining just looking around. There was a mishap with my toe color but the lady fixed it without having a bad attitude like a traditional nail shop. If I asked for something to be adjusted they did it without any negativity. They actually set a time for the pedicure massage so you know you’re getting what you pay for which I also appreciate and they write like a ticket and bring you this cute little idek what to call it thing with a number on it so you can pay up front. They really thought through the entire experience and every aspect of this salon which I really appreciate. I had BEE for my toes and CLAIRE for my hands. I...
