I HATE HATE HATE to give TStreet a bad review because they have been MY go to for the last 10 years! Food, service, drinks and atmosphere was nothing but exceptional! We even used them for a baby shower a couple years ago and everyone had a great time! Some of us maybe even too much fun, bottomless mimosas, so when we found out we were having twins we wanted to have another baby shower at Tstreet. This is where the night mare starts and will unfortunately end my business forever with Tstreet. I called the store and asked to talk to a manager / GM about reserving a spot for 30-40 people I was told for a week I would get calls back and never did. After 3 calls finally I was referred to Erica Anderson with Vibe concepts, a coordinator for parties larger than 20, GREAT! I sent 2 emails, 2 text messages and 2 phone calls with leaving a VM on each call. Another week goes by with zero responses. I call the store again and explain the issues I’m having and talked to a manager. He apologized and said let’s just book it so it’s reserved and finalized details after. He did warn me saying typically there is a minimum but due to circumstances I can’t hold that to you. I said I don’t want you guys to lose out on money but last time we did this we spend a good amount but I don’t want to be held to a minimum if possible and we both agreed that there would NOT be a minimum held for tan amount. Manager said great, then he stated we also typically don’t allow split tickets on a party that size and said but we can work to get it to a per table ticket to help out and I understood. I reserved the spot and that day I had an email in my inbox from Erica, event coordinator, confirming my reservation. I told her I would have a final count once I get my RSVP’s in which was one week prior to my baby shower reservation. 5 days prior to reservation I sent my final count. The night before my reservation I received an email stating we had a minimum of $2,200 and could only have one ticket. Erica called me and I said thats not what I was told and that this need to be fixed. After a few back and forth calls Erica stated she could drop the minimum to $1750 which was $58 per person. I understand needing to make money and a party that size taking up that type of room for a weekend lunch. I get it. But I’m also a business owner so when I’m told one thing then 2 weeks later, 12 hours prior to the reservation told another, that’s not how good business practices work! Anyways, The Rock wood fire pizza took us in a heart beat and thanked us for the opportunity for business. Not saying The Rock is better, but it’s crazy that this is what business have gone to! Especially on an important day as this. THANK YOU TO THE ROCK FOR GETTING THE EXTRA STAFF LAST MINUTE AND MAKING OUR DAY SPECIAL! They’re across the street yall should...
Read moreI'm so disappointed after my experience tonight. My boyfriend and I used to come in weekly, after tonight we won't ever be back. We always order the filet mignon and tstreet used to have consistent good quality meat and a good atmosphere. We stopped going for a while after having 3 negative experience with the same female server. I don't like having to explain to a host that we refuse to sit in her section. Tonight though takes the cake. We ordered our normal app and dinner and what should have been a medium rare filet mignon it came out medium well and butterfly. Why would you butterfly a filet?! After asking for it to be refired due to it being so over cooked we sat there and watched the grill cook used his finger to eat the food we sent back while recooking our order and touching Raw produce product and cutting boards to prep more food. I have never been more grossed out in my life. It's an open kitchen, I can see you sticking your fingers in your mouth and then on food your cooking for others. When I asked the manager she could clearly see I wasn't lying and the cook was chewing food so she said she was going to talk to the chef. The chef comes out and apologized. The thing that got me is he didn't say they shouldn't be doing that he said "they should be letting people see them do it" implying its okay for the cooks to have their hands in their mouth and then touch other people's food. Needless to say we ended up canceling our order and tipping out our server as it wasn't his fault. Camden we appreciate you waiting on us 🙏 to the blonde manager thank you for being understand. But to the chef you need to reconsider the expectations and ethics of your cooks. Tstreeted used to be hands down our favorite restaurant in lakewood but we are so disappointed to have such bad back to back experience.
Owners you need to be present in your establishment and figure why this place is going so down hill so quickly. Tstreet used to have a 5 star rating great vibe great food. What's happening and why are you...
Read moreMy wife and I ate here. Overall, the food was very good and moderately priced. The atmosphere was also great. The service was also good until it came time to pay. The waitress brought out our check, my wife reviewed it and everything looked good. The price was approximately $56. The waitress took my wife’s card and came back with the copy to sign and the total on that slip was approximately $60. My wife was a little confused and she looked at her bank app and it showed that her card had been run twice. Once for the original amount and then again for an additional $4 and some change.
We were both a little confused as the waitress did not say a word about the additional charge. Once we flagged the waitress down she gave us some confusing story about ‘accidentally’ ringing up a pizza instead of my wife’s salad and she had to make an adjustment so the bill came out a little more than the original $56.
The whole situation was just really peculiar. Every time I’ve been to a place and there was a discrepancy on the bill, the waitress would bring the adjusted bill back for review BEFORE charging the card. What made it even more odd is that the waitress swiped the card for the original amount, then swiped it again for an additional $4. Why not just adjust the amount to the $60 and then swipe the card only once?
The waitress wound up crediting us a couple of drinks after the situation unfolded, but it was still a bit sketchy. As we were walking away, I got to thinking maybe it was fraud. Skimming a little of each check or something? So, we called and spoke to the GM. He said he remembered authorizing the transaction changes because the waitress had explained that she had ‘mistaken’ our table for another and rang up the wrong amount. Different story than she told us.
Anyway, the manager told us it should be ok and we should continue to monitor the bank to make sure everything comes out correct; he assured he’d make it right if not. He apologized and...
